    Hi everyone

I have just finished CBT and the best thing I have learnt is IT IS TIME TO LOOK AFTER ME FIRST INSTEAD OF LAST.

The first thing they told us was people that care for others are more likely to get Fibro. All the people on the couse were caring people. Nursing, Teaching, Nusrsing assistants, ect.

How many of you are in the caring people?

Love and gently hugs to everyone. Mace

I agree with you Mace......CBT is quite an experience and an eye opener on how one deals with day to day life?  It teaches positive way of using the thought process.

I welcome anyone to give CBT a try.  Fibro is one issue but CBT is a help. wink xx

Hi Mace I used to be a Cardiac Physiologist and I have done the CBT course.

Found it useful but the further I get away from and in certain circumstances find it hard to put the things taught into practice.

Take care and gentle hugs x

      Hi Janet

You need to keep the CBT in place in order to move forward.  It's an art in itself, but once conquered it's an amazing knowledge to have.

One day and one moment at a time.

Take care and gentle hugs wink x

      Hi Mace

How strange..I were a carer for 25 years in Nursing homes, and also did Private Care for the last 5 years before being diagnosed 4 years ago.
