yes, I have been there.. Don't give up.. Ask your Doctor to make an appointment with a rhuematologist for a CONSULT  to rule that out..  If you put it that way,  im sure they will agree..hopefully...Have u tried LYRICA?

I'm so sorry to hear that no one wants to take you serious. I truly feel your pain. Is there any other way that you can seek out your own doctor's? Do you have to have a referral which is why you say that the doctor won't send you to one? I've had fibromyalgia for 18 years now and have gone through quite a bit of doctors that didn't want to do what I needed them to do. It shouldn't be as hard now that there's finally a diagnosis code for it. With this illness we have to advocate for ourselves. And I know it's really hard having small children. God bless you and I'm praying that you can get the support from the medical field that you need. I was never told that it was in my head but I was told that that particular specialist office did not believe in fibromyalgia. A rheumatologist, he said that I had cervical spondylosis instead. You have to kick those that are not going to help you to the curb. Yes, it's frustrating but keep at it. You will find the doctor's that you need. Take care of yourself.

It’s absolutely disgusting that this goes on ? Have u tried suggesting drugs to them such as lyrics that you could try ? Are you a member of any group ie fibromyalgia UK or anything where they can help

      Good luck

No not at the moment I'm going to try and get in contact with one tomorrow and no I haven't tried many medications they don't like giving me them because I'm 24 but I've never had a addiction in my life so I can't understand why they won't prescribe me anything more than 20g citalopram.

You must insist on seeing a consultant and don’t let the gp tell you it’s in your head because it isn’t !! Gives you worry’s unnecessarily. These doctors do not know anything about fibromyalgia that’s why you should go to a neologist for advice. I have started taking cbd from Holland and Barrett. Cbd is an all rounder especially for pain. This is my 3rd day so early days. Google it for more info. Good luck 😉
