suicidal thoughts

Hello,I have thought for nearly a year that my wife would be much better off without me. I am not depressed, people would be surprised to find I feel this way. I cannot sort out the problem presently-that I want to ensure she is ok financially. The thing is I think of this all the time now even sitting at home in the evening. I did tell her a while ago she would be better off but I dont want to raise that again

I did consider seeing the dr on my medical I will soon be having but my wife uses the same centre and I dont think I can tell the nurse when I attend on that day. Does anyone feel similiar?

yes, Eliz' there is no problem at home , i love her, just have thoughts I should let her find someone good. That is awful, what happened to you,I feel tears but never cry, feel for you.

There's nothing wrong at home so it is crazy. Our kids have left home and it is nice here, peacful haha Tht's why I cant understand my nagging thoughts,It is just stress overspilling ,I do know that, maybe a bit burnt out .No ,I actually know I AM burnt out with life's struggle. It is not to do with home life.

Hi Mark, meant to say that you may be best to get some Counselling so you can talk to a non judgemental person who is not emotionally involved. This is confidential. Please ask yor GP for options as you clearly need to talk to someone if your feeling suicidal.

    Elizabeth.

I will try to say, but I have never said anything personal to a doctor or nurse, hardly ever gone to doctors, dread it but I am going ,Dont know if I can say anything,I have not even been able to talk about a simple sexual problem that has gone on for a long time. I am lucky to never go to hospital and hardly ever doctors but the bad side of that is ..I cant trust them, or find the words.  Goodnight, Elizabeth.
