I am having suicidal thoughts everyday now. No doctor has been able to help me. I know I'm in perimenopause. My gyno says there's nothing wrong with me even though my testosterone was low and my progesterone was 0.2!! I don't know what to do anymore. I'm on an antidepressant but it does nothng. Please help! Is this normal to feel this way??

I got on the combipatch patch. I was also suicidal, severe heart palpitations and hot flashes. My thyroid was low also and take levothyroxine. My mood calmed immediately with the patch. No more problems except some IBS. I suffered horribly for over a year while I was jumping down different rabbit holes.

Hi wildfire- I see this post is from 9 mos ago and I’m wondering how you’re doing? YOU ARE NOT ALONE?? I am fighting the same battle and feel very much alone myself..
I try to hold on by telling myself this is only a “stage” in my life. That it will get better- I must say there literally are days I don’t get out of bed and hope tomorrow will be better. I have searched for local support without much success, ie.; counseling, meds, church, meditation.. I want to encourage you to please don’t give up ?? I’m searching for new meaning and purpose because I cling to hope that there is more! Now that my 2 children are grown and busy I’m trying to redefine my worth/value.. JUST KEEP TRYING!
I read some responses and am going to try them!

PLEASE remember, that you're NOT alone .. theres alot of us out here -
seriously, DO SOMETHING GOOD FOR YOUR "SELF"!! its a sad reality that so many women (mothers and wifes) are overlooked and the ones we love the most are the ones who know us least and have little to no time for us, sooo pour that love and attention on yourself and your needs, because they are valid and legitimate!
Blessings 😃

hi wildfire-
unfortunately doctors aren't very literate when it comes to women and the complex stages we have to walk, trudge, crawl and claw our way through!
1 thing that is very positive for me is connecting with other women, especially women about 5 years older than me- their wisdom & understanding goes so much further than the so-called professionals..
the challenge is for us to reach out to one another so we don't feel alone and "terminally unique" !!!
i was far more social when i was younger but as i'm getting older i have very little tolerance for chaos & drama 😕 i used to love a large circle of friends but having 1 or 2 TRUE FRIENDS that you can be "real" with- it will have a subtle but profound impact!
HAPPY NEW YEARS and keep HOPE!!
