The next meeting of the Surrey Support Group will take place on Tuesday, 12th April, with a guest speaker talking on the subject 'Mindfulness'.  If you live in Surrey or surrounding borders and would like to come along, you can be assured of a warm welcome from a very friendly group of people who understand the challenges of living with PMR and/or GCA.  For further details and to register, please send me a PM.

The only support group in London at the moment is in East London.  However, depending whereabouts you are in South London, you might not be too far away from our Surrey Group that meets in Chertsey?  Certainly, one of our members comes from South West London (another comes from Kent!)

I was told there is a support group in New Malden centre and waiting for them to contact me.

Lee, who told you?  It's just possible that the National Organisation, PMRGCAuk, might be setting up something in that area as they are putting people in touch with each other in little groups who meet in cafes.

You are right is the National Organisation who come to check who may need helps in the household like how to save fuel etc etc ..He did say there will be one in New Malden and he will put my name on the list. And there is one for osteoporosis too. With PMR he mentions about the exercise we can do. Keep fingers cross and hope it happens.

    Thanks

Lee, New Malden is only about 17 miles from our meeting place in Chertsey (about 25 mins traffic permitting).

Thank you is a bit out of my way. I don't drive 😁😁 and never have the courage to wonder any further than Kingston.

Lee, I've "wandered" around Kingston all my life - best shopping centre for many miles around.....even if it is the most expensive one in the south east!

    Directions from Connecticut?

Daniel - there are quite a few people dotted around the States who have been put in touch with each other with the help of a lady from the North East of England support group who posts on this site - if she reads this, I'm sure she'll join in to help.
