I have SVT as well. Scheduled to go in for an ablation on the 16th of this month. I encourage you to see an electrophysiologists cardioligist.

Hi Jen, I am also going for an ablation June 22. It was originally may 31 but when I got there they had to cancel.

So how anxious are you about it?

I am really nervous. I am in good hands though. My Doctor is one of the best ones in Seattle. Where are you getting yours done? When you would have an episode did they give you adensine ( spelling) ?

      Jen

I have only had 2 episodes that were in Feb. both times they stopped on there own

.iwent on bisoprolol but could not stand it. To many side effects. That is why I have opted for the ablation. I am having it done in Toronto Canada. When I went may 31, I was a wreck. I also have anxiety. Before I left they took my husband and myself for a tour of the cath lab hoping that might help him. Well not copy.

I am scared to death that I am going to die....I am trying to stay positive though. I am getting it done next Thursday. You will be the first person I email and let you know how it goes. I am 49. How old are you

Well I am an old crow...61. the tour was okay. Showed us where I will be laying and all the monitors. Then there is a glassed room where all the computer stuff is. I meat some of the staff like the arrhymya specialist. Sorry for the spelling.

You know, they all act like it is no big deal. It's like in your own profession you know it so well it comes second nature (by the way I work in a funeral home. Haha) you can private message me any time

      HI Ellen,

Thank you so much for your concern. It warms my heart. I just got back from my echo. I feel confidentr that nothing else is wrong. She said if anything was wrong she would not have let me leave the hospital. I am feeeling a little better right now. This weekend I was a wreck. If it were not for my husband being there to help me thru this I would be a bigger wreck. I will reach out to you after my surgery.

OMG...I feel fabulous!!! I was not in one ounce of pain. Even where they insserted the cathather in my groin area. They were able to detect the extra impulse right away. I was in surgery like 1 hour and 15 minutes. I left the same day. No pain killers or anyhting. I was at hte mall on Sat and I am at work today. I feel like I have a second lese on life! PLEASE do not be afraid to have it done. If you weere advised to do it, DO IT!!! I never realized how much anxiety I really had until now. I feel none!!!

      Hi Jen,

Just wanted to let you know I am back from hospital

Unsuccessful.......he could not find the area. He thought possibly because of the medication for anxiety I am taking.

So disappointing. Had a meltdown on the way home

Hope all is well with you
