Dr. I had a EKG they said it was normal wore a Holter Monitor for 24 Hrs it said was normal. I have been on Inderal 5mg 4x a day for 20 years for Prolasped mitral valve, my pulse is usually aroun 50-60 bpm Lately I have episodes of racing heart rate over a 100 bpm then normal. I also take Norvas 5mg daily for
bp. The nurse at the cardiolgist told me I have SVT I see Cardiogist next week I am scared.

I was told to go off Bisoprolol 5 days earlier, but because this was to have been done May 31, I never went back on them. Nothing was said about other medications that I have been taking, only not to take day of. Yes my doctor is an electophysiologist.

Just got home from work. I work in a funeral home and we had a beautiful 2 year old little girl. Such a sad day ......
I have been doing okay. These meds for anxiety have really helped. I will be seeing specialist Aug 2 so hope to get some more answers. I am unclear whether he could not get my heart rate up enough to do the mapping, or he got it up but could not find the short circuit. So I am anxious to find out. Personally I think these meds calmed my heart to much, so it would not go into tachycardia. I only remember someone says rate at 140.
I am just so very happy to hear you are doing great. It must be wonderful not to worry VB about it anymore. My big fear is flying with this condition. Or bring away and having it.
Just thrilled for you. Recovery was not to bad eh ? My groin was slightly sore and had a far amount of bruising but no biggie. We just went up to our cottage for a couple of days and relaxed. ( I should be there this weekend but my daughter got dibs on it.......hope I do not get an phone calls from our neighbours up there ).
Enjoy your weekend my friend.

Hi Nola please don't be scared what makes you think it is afib there are many types of svt ..... Have you been told it's afib or are you comparing your symptoms to what you yourself have researched , I myself can't help reading up on things I have been suffering svt for about 12 months and am due to see a electrophysiologist to see what type and what he thinks .
