SVT? Can anyone help?

Hi, for weeks I’ve had the same thing. At night I’m literally just dropping off nice and relaxed when my heart flutters and is followed immediately by a regular but fast heart rate that goes on sometimes for hours. I’m sure it’s not panic that’s causing this as I feel relaxed even when it happens but the GP says it’s all anxiety. I’m sure this is an SVT? Should I go back - again? Holter Meters never catch it and just show ectopics. It’s the flutter followed by fast heart rate that concerns me more than the odd ectopic. And thoughts greatly appreciated!

Mine start out that way about 6mo ago then I started cold sweats, nausea and dizzy! Doctor did a cardiac ablation but 2 weeks after I started getting worse so thats when he put in my pacemaker! Such a big difference! Hope you find a solution!

It is how fast your heart is going that matters. If it is under 100 bpm it's fine. I get the same as you, usually if I have eaten a heavy meal or eaten late or even if I am a bit "windy"
you are always much more aware of your heart when lying down.
do you drink alcohol or caffeine in the evenings because this can cause it too.

Eat small helpings and don't eat late. I can't eat and then rush about or bend down for a while or it sparks of my heart which can go into rapid beats or AF
I am on flecainode and rivaoxiban

My friends think AF is just a panic attack so I don't discuss it . I am grateful for this forum and the discussions !
