SVT catheter ablation operation

I am having an operation to stop SVT in a couple of months.  I am really scared and have to stay awake.  Can anyone reassure me that it isn't as bad as it sounds please!

Thanks for the re-assurance Sarah and Ciaran,  Yes they said I might feel that it's going to start up but it wouldn't.  I've had a few of those as well, but the one I'm talking about was like a proper attack only shorter.  My heart went up to around 200 bpm for about 5 mins then came down to 90 for half an hour before returning to normal.  That was more than I had expected, although before my attacks lasted for hours.  I don't see my cardiologist for another 3 months but I'll mention it when I do and just hope it's a one off.
