Symptoms frozen shoulder, confused help.

Hi, I have been suffering with frozen shoulder, symptoms for last six months. I have had no tests or X-rays. I have seen four Drs who have said different things from trapped nerve in my neck, frozen shoulder, arthritis etc. I am having physio and had a cortisone injection, this has given me a lot of movement back , I still can't do my own bra or do backwards movement with my arm, but I am now getting pains in the muscle tissue in my arm right side, it's like sharp shooting pain and I don't get any sleep still. I'm more frustrated with actually getting a proper diagnosis . The other arm is starting to go the same was as my right one I'm at a loss, I even had a letter to go private but doctors would not recommend me , any advice would be appreciated. Thanks for reading.

I keep saying about this all being a grey area with doctors and physio's alike. Unfortunate as this doesn't help many of us. Have they given you enough pain relief? You have to be firm with everything. Demanding if you can!!! It's having the energy though, right?!
I have had this since September and they are still looking at my neck, but I know they don't need to anymore!! I was told last week it's frozen shoulder that's come on because I did have a bad neck, but my Gp doesn't seem to understand Frozen shoulder.
This site is amazing and there are great people on here who will give their sound advice.
Before j found this last week by accident (fate??!) I honestly thought I was going crazy as no one got me!!!! I love it here. Hope you will too.

Also like I've mentioned before about it not being visible to others!!!!! Oh well!!! I won't say on here some of the things I say and think!!!
We all understand and know how frustrating and hurtful it is with our doctors not getting it!! Almost as if being palmed off!! I might show my doctor this site and maybe it will open her eyes!! X

i knew you would be in a bad way by late arvo.....it's exhausting trying to carry on as normal while suffering silently in pain.
it is pretty amazing where I live....I'm on an acre just outside a city called Wollongong ( bit of a mouthful) lots and lots of bird life, I don't mind the birds calling I find it very relaxing....even the noisey cockatoos. There is a flock of over a hundred and they come in morning and afternoon.......noisey buggers they sqwark sqwark sqwark......Google them, they are white cockatoo, see if Google will give you their call then times it by 100....lol
Lunch was very nice, it was catching up with a friend I havnt seen for 6 months, she drove and we just went to a nice little restaurant not too far away, we sat chatting till 4 then I came home and had an afternoon nap, I was knackered 😳

All I can hear is cars and people !!!! Not quite the same. I believe it's better for your health/wellbeing to live somewhere like you do. You will heal so quickly after your surgery.
My arm is really aching at the moment. Cut the bloody thing off!!!!!!! Xxx

we built the house we are in now 13 years ago. Where I used to live I always woke up to street noise, now where I live it's just the birds you hear.
Ill send you a photo one day of my beautiful view which will certainly help with the healing 😀
My arm has been aching something shocking all day today....I try not to take day time pain killers as a rule, unless I really need them.....today I have taken two lots 😩💊😩💊😩💊😩💊

I'd love to see a picture!
Putting our problems aside, I was thinking about that atrocity that happened in Sydney in January. I was watching it. Did it have its affect on you? It does make so sad though, that it takes awful things like that to bring people together.

Do you mean the Lindt shop shooting?
That was terrible and sadly 2 people lost their lives just for popping in to grab a coffee.

We are one big family here and we are all suffering the same problem with terrible daily and nightly pain.....so we all understand each other's pain and difficulties this creates and we all support each other with friendship, advise and sometimes a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen 😊
i agree with Mel....you really have to jump up and down to get good STRONG pain medication. Doctors are very apt to start of on the mildest stuff....jump up and down.
You really need at least an X-ray and ultra sound.....this will determine arthritis or not, torn rotator cuff or not, inflamed bursa or not........YOU have to demand medical help because it's affecting YOUR life......let us know how you go, but know that we are all here for you when you need us 😘❌❌❌
