Symptoms started appearing 1 months after taking antibiotics and it is progressive

Hello Everybody

I took Cipro on mid June and it didn’t hit me then except minor bruising on my under arm .But then after a month I started feeling pain on my legs ,then shoulders and recently(after almost 3 months) I feel pain on my small joint of wrists, hands, feet, fingers etc. I am sick worried if I have rheumatoid arthritis or it is Cipro post side effects?

Does anybody know if the symptoms can wait that long to appear and be progressive after or it is probably rheumatoid arthritis?

    Hi Sarah and Everyone on this forum.

    I recently was prescribed antibiotics for a bladder infection intially was given nitrofurantoin. It didn't seem like it was helping so I called my Dr's.office he was out and his Physican assitant prescribed CIPRO. I took 2 and felt so sick I thought what is going on? I called back to the office and was told not to take them and go back to the original again.

    Didn't think too much at that time but now it's been 2.5-3weeks later and I am reeling with all sorts of bone pain, muscle pain, migraine and joint pain, horrible lower back pain. I just feel sick. I went to my Dr's office and his reply about it being Cirpo causing my issues was bullsh#t. ( Nice caring MD)

    So it looks like I am going to need a new MD as my symptoms are progressing and feeling worse week after week.

    I never take prescriptions knowing I am very sensitive to them. It's been 12+ yrs since I've had antibiotic.

    This is horrendous after I've done my research and see all the horror stories I am just blown away.

    I am 56 very active with horses on large acreage, I can do alot and have for 20 years was  former gym rat and weight trainer. Been very healthy and active.

    I have lost my zest, energy and happiness because I do not feel good and very

    worried.

    This seems to progress and I can't imagine what is coming next in the way of more symptoms.

    Hi sara i know this is an old post but if you do get to read this please help , i to got posioned from cipro , nerve pain on arms legs hand even my face mouth skulp and also worse of all migranes, iam in london uk i got given the antibiotics in turkey for an infection while on a holiday 6 months ago , iam just wondering and hopeing you are better and could please help me with any advice treatment that work in so much pain contact me plz
