Hi all TNR 5.3.15.First physio today because of horrendous tight band on walking??? Well hes not sure what it is but my knee doesn't go flat to the bed and cant push it down when he puts his hand under?? He said its still very swollen and fluidy so ive to start anti inflammatorys straight away!!!! He said it could be my knee cap pressing and causing pressure??? So as an experiment hes pushed my knee cap up yikes and taped it with some EXTRA strong tape. NO exercising and to sit with it out not pulled back like the exercises??? I go back fri so back to no baths til fri lol. Must say I havent had that horrible tightness since he did it but hell I still feel sick from the pain he put me through lol.

    that sounds really horrific!  First physo after more than three months sounds like a bad idea!  Mine didn't go flat until all the swelling was gone, which was probably about four months. . .hope he knows what he is doing!  Definitely a moment for chocolate!

      Oh no!!!  We'll all have to eat chocolate too so Andrea doesn't feel left out.

      OMG that was still going on this morn lol I was tellin me better half whilst I waited for physio. Ive got to say my knee is now extremely sore but I dont have that gripping band on walking??? The stiffness was awful!!! Gonna try get in the bath now with me leg up lol needless to say Dave has offered to help me lol lol

    oh my god its like some kinda torture !!!!!!!!! ive been through alot but nothing like that glad i dont have him !!!!!!!!!

      It was flamin torture lol but to be honest I havent had that tight band of stiffness on walking so taping my knee cap up has done something???? Dont no how il feel tom though lol

    That sounds horrendous!!! Only hope it has done you some good. Why did you have to wait so long for you physio?

      Its not given as standard here you haveto wait to see if you need any. I didnt sleep last night cos its very sore BUT im not getting tthat tight stiffness when I walk so easing the knee cap has ob done something???? Il see what he says tom???
