You poor thing, you must get yourself looked at vene if it's just to put your mind at rest.
I'm okay but still have a stabbing pain when I bend forward too far. I'm trying not to convince myself that they've left something sharp inside me from the operation. I've been getting out and about but not for too long or going too far. I've been a bit tearful but I think that's beacuse of the HRT. My boobs are also very, very sore and rock hard - again HRT.
Let me know how you get on at Docs.

I am sleeping good, had my stitch out on Monday, the district nurse came out to my house, with two students, it was quite crowded in my bedroom for the big unveiling!!!
So far I am now happy to take a shower on my own (previously taken with my mum standing on guard). Trouble is I live with my son and he definitely wont have anything to do with me in any state of undress, don't blame him either. He is a bit week on the cleaning front so me mum and sister have made time to help with housework, if left too long they just know I will have a go a doing it!!
You have to be so careful with everything. Just lifting a full kettle can cause damage and with a numb tum you don't always know your own limits. This is going to take some time to get over!!
I can't walk the dog yet either, she pulls and it takes a good 10 mins to get up the stairs to bed.
Well sounds like we are all in the same boat so look after yourselves girls and don't push your luck. TAKE IT EASY

I too have been tearful but as its been 4 weeks since my surgery I am wondering if a period is looming as I had a D and C so didnt have my normal period. I have been crying at anything on tv. I have also been very down
Linda I know what you mean the first thing I remember after the op is pulling the handle on the toilet at the hospital and how much it hurt my tummy who would have thought something as simple as that would use so many muscles in your stomach. We have a push one at hoem so wasnt as bad, but also at home you have stairs to deal with. The cleaning is a toughie mine isnt being done and its driving me mad not being able to do it. But if I feel up to it I will do a bit of dustng or sweeping but its knowing your limits and stoping as soon as it hurts.
My dog keeps looking at me too whenever I put my coat on but I cant take her she pulls too much.
At least we have each other to talk to to stop us going completely insane whilst recovering LOL

Wow Tracey sorry to hear of the pain, you should get it checked out, let us know how you get on.
I'm a week over the op now and feelin stronger every day. I can do the stairs on my own, very slowly  :D but getting there!!
I got my follow up appointment today 5 Jan 2009, it seems so long away I think it has just dawned on me how long I will be off work.
I am not on HRT yet, the hospital gave me a letter for my GP but I thought I would just wait and see what happens, I have been a little bit flushy but nothing dramatic so I'll leave it for now.
What we need is a girls night out
