the magic 6 weeks today and.....

so today is exactly 6 weeks post op and I am driving, I am going back to work in 1 1/2 weeks after the Easter hols, i have no pain, i am not so tired any more , i can sleep on both sides, I can do supermarket shopping and get the bags into the house and when hubby had manflu made clever use of the crutch to lift up carrier bags too heavy for the grabber and carry it jousting style into the kitchen, I can be very resourceful as new issues of movemrnt arise, i am able to be in the house with my husband for 6 weeks non stop without committing murder, i have taken steps to start a small craft business as a retirement plan, i have disovered who my true friends are, and i can walk a short distance without a crutch - only real problem is that I still have a limp and slight muscle pain when i do, but consultant not bothered by that - oh and I am buying lots of new shoes for medical reasons so that i am not walking on heels that are worn down at 45 degrees!!!
