The Truth of what the Coalition has done to 84% of sick and disabled claimants in the UK!

Posted , 7 users are following.

Hi Everyone,

I am a firm believer on how disgraceful disabled people have been treated in the UK with this Tory/LibDem gov't, I expect you to have noticed this has gone for far too long. I like many others will never vote for Tory ever, David Cameron is like they say a Devil in disguise, and even voted as the worst PM to run this country ever! This says a lot, not to mention the lies that the public have been fed making them feel depressed, etc. The media have also printed stories that make many disabled or sick people feel literally not worth living. To me, and many people I have spoken to on this forum and via private message, there is one thing that stands out is many cases and that this government has made so many people depressed and unable to cope financially. This should not be the case at all, the sooner this Tory coalition is out the better.

As you know the General Election in the UK is less than 100 days from us. A website that deals with claiments of benefits and work ran a vote over the past week, but it was not just a vote, they asked people their views on the current Coalition Government and how they have been affected, over the past few years not just financially but healthwise as well.

I hope you will vote in this Election just to demolish what the Coalition has done to us. We deserve better, David Cameron and his cronies are for themselves.

If you read this far then I urge you to read the following... if you vote.

    I talk about him like he's still a child, he's 24.

I remembered that he went to Conections in the prevous town we lived in but he didn't connect with anyone in there. He connects with very few people, he's had the same two best friends for years and he feels comfortable with me, he likes the couple he lives with now but anyone else! He won't even talk to anyone else in the family, including his grandma.

If there's some such thing in town I could tell them all this and they may have someone who might understand him better than the last ones. But with the cutbacks where they're trying to reduce help for people I don't know.

I'm studying for a degree so I can work from home proof reading and copy editing. There's more chance of succeeding in that line of work with a degree, and I need to support him, no idea for how long.

      Hi Georgia,

You can make some good money online, pay depends on location remember we are in the EU, and the new Taxes came in to effect on 1st January 2015. You can make loads of money on copywriting, digital artwork, photography, technical support desk via remote, operate a hosting company, manage webservers, etc. I've sold artwork on the net, not me personally but through a third-party, if you're good at art its not a bad a line to get into, many people think my work is strange and I have a warped mind, like dead bodies, etc but then I can also go to the other end of scale and create artwork of people, landscapes, etc.

      Regards,

      Les.

I'll pm you my son's dob, more surprising than you know! Best not to say things like dob in open as I'm sure Les would tell you.

Our sons sound more alike the more we say!

Before I got DLA and when my son lived here finances were so tough that I did online surveys and the little bit I earnt really helped, but oh they drove me mad with stress!

I used to love painting and drawing but I haven't done that for a while, except for painting a dragon a few years ago. It was so therapeutic! razz

Have you heard of the child genius painter, I forget her name. Her artwork is so unblievable. I'd love to buy one of her prints but they're too expensive. Her family is financially secure for life. They never pushed her though.

That's very impressive work! She started a year before me.. I was 5 years old when I pieces of artwork in the Cheltenham Art Museum. I used to sell portraits, pictures of horses for a couple that were in to horse racing, dropped of at country pubs and draw them from various angles. Nowadays, its all hand and digtal.

A tend to use prisma colors pencils from the USA, they are not the top ones, but I would not mind trying the better make, but very nice to draw with, I bought 5 in a tin awhile ago. smile

      Regards,

      Les.

Horses were one of my favourite things to draw and ballerinas for the endless possiblities of movement and the beauty of their forms.

I didn't pursue it as you did, that's impressive Les. I spent more time playing guitar but I never pursued that either, preferring to play when I was on my own, still do prefer that.

I asked my daughter to buy me a sketch pad today, £3 from the school - give me more to do than just stuck at the computer, well I'm not always on here, somedays I use my iPad linked to my PC, so I can watch TV and reply to messages.

My daughter used to draw Anime, now shes been designing tattoo's, she's got a wide base of drawings, photo-realistic work is very clever its hard to tell if its a photograph or a drawing. Its strange, everyone in our family can draw, my wife can draw - I assume she got that off her dad, where as I got it off my dad.

One up on me girl, I can't play any instrument whatsoever! I have tried but failed miserably in the past..lol

      Regards,

      Les.

Try a 48 key harmonica in the key of C. Most songs are based around that key. Listen to your favourite music, relax and play along, Doesn't matter making mistakes that sound awful. Keep doing it, it's such a release.

You've inspired me to pick up a sketch pad and draw something.

I started on a double sided harmonica in C and G. i didn't read music so I just played the tunes I knew. It led me on to the accordian. I find it too heavy now so either an alto recoder or a digital piano. An harmonica is a great idea Georgia, even if it does take me way back down memory lane to my teens.

A lady with ME did painting by numbers for a relaxing hobby and she loved it. She ended up with loads, gave one to a neighbour and started selling them in the CFS forum for donations for the site. I bought 2 and they're lovely.

I did one myself to see why she she loved doing them so much and it was really calming. You can get them as simple or complex as you want and there are such beautiful pictures to choose from in ebay.
