to be honest im petrified.. i still get some chest pain and trouble with my breathing..Today i have woke up and i feel very down... trying so hard not to cry as i feel my family have been through enough..
I have no one to talk
I still have my fibro to deal with, but when u know ur so close to death its a different feeling, john and his brother in law are very busy making the two ajoining cupboards in my hall into a clock room toilet which will be great when finished but i sometimes wish john was sitting beside me and being able to talk over my fears.( that sounds very selfish doesnt it).
Its strange feeling like this.. like now i have got a pain in my chest and i dont know if i should be calling a doc or riding it out to see if it goes away.. sorry for makin u all feel down im just so frightened...
I hope ur all very well and not in to much pain...

How are you feeling now. Did the chest pain ease off. It must be really scary for you. You have been through a traumatic time so has John and your family. I should think John is as worried as you but trying not to let you see as doesn't want you worrying anymore. I think if you are worried at all about chest pain after what you have been through I would ring the doctor to make sure. If you don't want to ring your doctor you could always ring nhs direct 0845 4647 and they will advise you what to do.
You are not upseting us all. We are here for you and I wish I could be there and give you a hug. Come on any time and talk. I am on line quite a bit of time.

Good Morning All
Di I hope you are feeling a little better now. Just type away it helps a great deal to write or talk when we are frightened or worrid and can put things into perspective. Don't worry about upsetting us thats what friends are for hugs and support and you are all a great bunch.Have the chest pains calmed down yet? Hows the toilet coming along? The only downstairs toilet we have is outside which was great when the kids were small the only thing is there is no light or window so when you use it you need the door open, until one day I noticed the factory workers could see me from across the road.
Linda thanks for your info I didn't know that part existed as my hubby set up the forum login page for me to use and I have never looked much further. Yes you are quite right SLE can be confirmed by bloods but a lot of people don't get positive blood results and it still be active. My bloods are always normal even when I'm ill. Which is why I am asking so many questions to make sure rheumi have got it correct. Fibro treatment is very different and will do nothing for SLE. How did Rays meeting go? Hope they had some good advice.
Lindy what colour were the aliens? How many arms, legs, eyes did they have? I hope your brother is doing well? Mine has his frame off his leg today and a removeable cast put on today. Which is great news as he has been living with us 8 months and we have all had enough. Means he will be able to go back to work next month. He works and lives in a hotel.
Cold and wet in Derbyshire, I would love to come and play in the snow my kids don't know what its like to play out in the snow as we haven't had more than an inch in about 10 years.
Ses how are you?
Tess enjoy your day with Sophie, hope your pains are better now.
Has anyone tried dosulepin for pain and sleep?
Take care all.
:choc: :donut: :cupcake: :cake: for mid morning break.

How are things now Di, has the pain settled :?: Did they tell you what to expect when they sent you home :!: If not I think Tess is right you should contact someone, NHS direct or GP. Don`t worry about coming on here and upsetting us, we would be more worried and upset if you didn`t :!: Just take care and do whatever feels right for you.
Lizzy, I haven`t tried Dosulepin for pain and sleep, always been on amitriptylene since diagnosis and extra pain killers as and when I need them. It must be very hard trying to sort out what symptoms go with what, it`s bad enough trying to decide if something is caused by the Fibro :!:
Tess hope you had a good day with Sophie, she will cheer you up I`m sure.
Meetings seem ok, Ray even said he enjoyed it, and he is hard work to get anywhere so must be ok.
Take care all, really tired again today, so just chilling tonight.

Had a lovely day with Sophie and Molly after school. Sophie so loves wathing Molly and always laughing with her. As soon as Molly comes in she gives Sophie a big hug and kiss. I think Sophie thinks she can run when you hold her hands and she moves her feet. She tries to run and really loves being on her feet.
Well woke early again today at half five but didn't get up until 6.30a.m. Be glad when warmer weather comes back and rain goes as my legs are really painful at the moment. Some back ache as well today but expect that with holding and playing with Sophie. Its the pains that wake me early in the morning. Once I do exerises and have a warm shower seem to help.
Hope you are ok Lizzy and getting some sleep. Also you Linda how are you feeling now. Its good Ray got on ok at his meeting.
Di I hope you are doing ok as haven't heard from you since you had some chest pain again. Just take it easy and come on if you feel like talking.
Lindy I hope you are not getting any of that snow you said about in Scotland. We have had a lot of wet weather this week and some sun. Very changeable at the moment. Talks of getting better here on Saturday.
I have a Wedding to go to as my nephew getting married.
Take care everyone!

Hope you are all enjoying this windy sunny day. At least we have had had no rain.
Di I hope you are feeling better and that the chest pain has gone. Is the toilet also nearly finished. Hope it didn't cause too much dirt.
Hi Lindy what type of job do you do? I work for an internet company processing their orders. Just do a few hours a day. Its local so it means I can walk and keep fairly fit at the same time. Was a relief kitchen assitant in the local schools till last month. It was far too much so have handed in my notice.
Tess how are the aches and pains? better I hope. Wishing you a good time at the wedding and a sunny day too.
I picked up the dosulepin today took docs 6 days to write the prescription. It looks like I have a stronger dose than the ami so am praying it will help.
Linda pleased to hear the meeting went ok for Ray. I hope you are feeling well to.
I've got an appt with rheumi occupational therapy next week. Asked what it was this afternoon. Anyway they are going to teach me how to pace myself and pain management so if anyone has any general questions they want me to ask let me know and I will try and find the answer. I'm interested in this as I have a large family to look after and I wondered what i should and shouldn't be doing.(as if I have a choice when things need to be done) I'm eager to learn. To be quite honest I think learning to keep the anxiety and stress under control would be more helpful.
Its amazing what they will offer you when you ask to see a specialist. 20 months they have offered no help or support, then i ask for a speicialist and I get everything but the specialist.
Enjoy the evening sun or snow.
Take care all.

Off to drs today as wanted me to make appointment for check on ampytripline as it has been six months since I saw him last. Also need to try and get more 25mg thyroxine as only given enough for a month at a time. Going to ask about my toes and see what could be done long term as the inserts are not very good they made for me. Can only really wear in one pair of boots as move about too much in my trainers and other boots. Also can't wear them with sandals or summer shoes.
Going to ring for an appointment soon and see what time I an get lol.

I do feel for you and do hope it will all sort itself out for you soon. Must be so difficult for you not worrying. I would be the same but try to remain positive if you can.
Speak to you when you come on again and look after yourself. I am sure Kerri will keep at close eye on you.
Take care and a hug from me.
