There is Hope - End Stage

Posted , 66 users are following.

Since joining the site I have read some really sad posts, mostly from people believing they are knocking on deaths doorstep from end stage liver disease relating to alcoholism. You need to know that the body is a VERY resiliant multicellular organism. It's entire Job is to keep you living as long as possible to ensure the survival of the human race. With that said, if you astain from alcohol and follow the proper dietary requirements, the progression of Cirrhosis can be slowed to a snails pace and even halted in some cases. It is never to late, but you must STOP drinking as the body can't begin its healing process and deal with your abuse at the same time. I wish everyone well, and I pray daily for anyone and everyone who is effected by this horrible disease.

Love you all.

Joel 66 I would sure like to know more about your diet. When you say lemon do you mean the juice of one lemon. Also, what to you do for protein. I am female, 55, NAFLD plus hepatotoxic damage from breast cancer treatment. Stage 4. Compensated. Am doing everything I can, including decaf coffee 3-4 mugs/day and protein shakes (raw vegetable source) but any other suggestions would be so very much appreciated. I am always profoundly tired but have started taking walks which is helping but I suffer from brain fog which is irritating. Could you share your average breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. Thank you so much, it has been so overwhelming. I was only 6 weeks out of radiation when my liver kicked off. MELD was 24 and I felt pretty rough.

    Thank you. Liz

Having lived 50 years with cirrosis after being told at 19 yrs. that I only could excpect month to a few years of life. During long hospitalations I read everything I could about liver function. it seemed obvious that I had to create a toxin free envirement

inside and outside my body. I stopped all drugs including. pharms and went on a radical macrobiotic diet. I implemented Dr. Gearson liverclense. protocol starting with 3. liters of raw high enzyme veg. fruit juices per day instead of processed foods that only caused more imflamation. After adapting to this protocol was healthy very active for 50 years with elevated enzymes. Years later after having to take 1000mlg. Ibepropen per night to sleep after spinal injury over 10 yrs

decompensated. lactatosa and antibiotics almost killed me within weeks causing accute dehydration and ileus destroying flora that aids in digestion when you liver no longer can. Over the years I built a powerful muscular body that helped me survive grave side effects and waste away. muscles asorb amonia gas when the liver no longer can. my marathon training enabled my heart to withstand 200bp with only 40k platlets experiencing autonomic nerve destruction resulting in arithmic heart disorder, inability to hmaintain hydration. insipious diabetes without thirst, spleen swelling aftert taking DDAs. clearing the virus but further damaging my liver and putting me in DDA purgatory. i am still on my feet dealing with thie multible life threatening occurences of ESLD holinisticly as all pharms.became toxic to me years ago and. I surely would have followed. the morbid prognosis if I had not. adapted to a non inflamitory, non toxic protocol. Joel seems to have a greater understanding and a much better protocol then the standard medical protocol that only leads to brain destruction and rapid waste away plus increasing imflamation and toxicity. Thanks Joel for offering much superior treatment that can save or extend many lives while adding quality to life other protocols deny.

Joel you hit the nail on the head butt they censor any mention of holinistic cures on my posts. This grave metibolic disorder can be best treated with a non toxic holinistic approach. As it effects every part of the bodiy profoundly. toxic cellular destruction.

I have used the same dietary protocol to n only survive but trive with cirrosis for 50 yrs. being told to only expect a few years at most after (accute hep c) liver biopsy 69' NYC. Often overlooked is exposure to enviromential toxins, breathing toxins streamlines toxins to your brain but also intravienously deliver dangerous toxins to your liver. Lately I have been suffering from all the alchohol, cloro, amonia used for the corona, all powerful liver and neurotoxins . With encephelapathy. inhaling. toxins can be more severe .

Coffee is very effective in reducing. liver toxicity in enemas as outlined in Dr. Gearsons liverclense protocols. Dr. Gearson used the macrobiotic juice to heal all the uncurable diseases of his time succesfully. Albert Swartzer awarded him the title of "The most brilliant doctor that ever lived" after curing him and his sister of incurable diseases. Unfortunatly for me accidents resulting in spinal injuries requiring 1000 mlg. Ibeprophen per night for 10 years brought my cirrosis back.

I still look and feel better then all the cases with similar stats. I am thin muscular no decended gut. 4 years decompensated. Survive on. mostly raw juices that are easily assimulated without liver function. Soup s and hi- enzyme fruit veg. combinations offer some colon adsorbtion. Also I maintained a strong exersize routine as muscles asorp amonia #1 brain destroyer. although alchohol even breathed, is in close competition. I cleared hep c a year ago but put me into DDA purgatory. Cleared but increased toxicity resulting in spleen swelling . Now peptic bleeding uicers and heptic cardio pulminary complications. This game of holinisric health has kept me going far longer then any comparison case histories

Hello everyone. Im a 28 yr old female with a drinking history starting at 18. i know i have made very big mistakes in my past that have lead me to here. i never stopped drinking and only picked it up more the last two years. i also smoked weed this whole time too. i was diagnosed with ibs c in 2015 in which ive had every stool shape and color since though now they are normally pale brown or pale yellowish. i had itching for the last two yrs all my drs say is hyperthyroid, ive never had juandace but my biliruben has bees slightly elevated on and off through the years with very normal ast and alt and apk. this year i started getting upper right quadrant pain all around my right rib cage to my back and right shoulder blade and neck. again my labs normal with slightly elevated biliruben. my 2018 ultrasound showed nothing but this yea in May it showed mild focal fatty infiltration. dr said cut down booze and im good to go but i said i have pain still and he said thats not liver related. dr gave me a HIDA scan for gallbladder which showed normal ejection fraction of 96% and adequate and homogenous flow and delayed transit to bowel. they said nothing to do with that so gave me a ct which showed everything normal but enlarged liver but they said normal due to riedels lobe. so my drs said my liver was not actually enlarged and no inflammation as all hepatitis tests were negative. still my pain persists and i tell them it feels like my liver is trying to squeeze theough my ribcage but they dont care and say liver problems cause no pain. i had an upper endoscopy in july that showed mild gastritis but pathology was negative. they put me on anti acids and tylenol since may which for the first time in july my ast and alt moved from the normal 16/17 to now 26/29. since july they have gone down a bit but not back to normal and biliruben still back and forward but never extreme. i got a new GI because i feel like i know i have inflammation and damage (though i pray im wrong) he said hed schedule the full liver panel and fibroscan but its taking forever and i only feel worse. i finally went to Er for 3rd time which showed mild hepatomegaly. i asked dr if its reversable and he said i need to see my dr for more tests to check for inflammation and fibrosis. im terrified that i have bad fibrosis or cirrhosis and my drs are just delaying me getting the appropriate tests. im so afraid that im going to get worse before they help me. my main symptoms are itchy skin, mild nausea(which ive never had before), and the right side pain. since july the pain has also spread to my lower back mainly right side and thigh and groin area and also starting in august my urine is very pale almost not colored no matter how much or how litter fluids i drink. . i know liver disease is a not well understood beast and im so afraid ive cut my life dramatically short. as of this last week i have decided to go strict on my diet where i drink lemon water (lemon from store bought lemon juice), coffee with almond milk instead of regular, activia yougurt with grapes, banana, blueberries, strawberries and granola for breakfast, salads for lunch and salmon with veggies for dinner. i also go to my cafe and get organic juices for extra neutriants. i only cook with extra virgin olive oil and try to not eat fries or chips and salsa anymore. if anyone has insight to my condition or healthy lifestyle tips please help. my main goal is to live a full and happy life and not progress my liver problems.

Agreed, addiction to alcohol causes many problems to the body, and it only gets worse over time.

Having just been diagnosed with advanced liver disease it has really given me hope to read your post. I have today started drinking lots of coffee, even though I hate it 😀 I did quite a bit of reading today and apparently if can lower mortality rate by 66%, I'm definitely willing to try that.

Would it be possible for me to have a copy of your diet that you follow please as you sound very knowledgeable and this is all new to me and very scary.

    Many thanks in advance,

    Nikki

joel66 I have just came across your discussion. Is there any way of being able to talk to you re ARLD. my dad has just been diagnosed with this, the hospital still can't tell us what stage he's at and they never give me his blood readings re his liver in form of AST and other abbreviations I've read posted on here. I'm doing everything I can to understand this disease, the terminologies used.. what they mean what the readings mean on his bloods and what is good and bad for certain levels and also trying to find out what I can do for my dad to help him with his symptoms. I'm absolutely petrified at the thought of losing my dad to this. muscle wastage has started to kick in on his arms, swelling from fluid and gas in his tummy has it 3x its normal size, swelling in his legs ankles and feet and made them also 3x bigger and he also has gallstones as another result from the disease. any help from anyone I would appreciate so much! It's lifted my stress slightly to see people who have managed to actually be able to live a healthy life and remain strong and healthy post diagnosis. Thank you too anyone who manages to read this whole post of mine and still have energy to reply!

I woke up in a hospital in May (3rd), 2020. They told me that I have cirrhosis end stage, and stage 3 kidney disease. I was on life support in the ICU for 4 days, and then I just woke up. My whole body went into Septic Shock, and they called in the Priest. Then I got Ascites and had to wear uni-boots for three months. Then I had to learn to walk again. Now I feel much better, and my body is mending. I can feel it. Still sober to this day !
