I am 7.5 weeks post rectocele repair and have got a nasty bout of thrush. Apart from being very uncomfortable, will this affect healing and should I go to the GP or just ride it out with over the counter treatment? My post-op check up isn't for another 5 weeks or so. Has anyone else had this?

Not sure if u have an asda Walmart nearby but it's £5 as apposed to £12 .

Thank you. I appreciate the heads up but I had already sent my husband (who luckily works from home) out to our local pharmacy and got the generic brand fluconazole for £3. Bargain, hey! I already had the cream from my last bout so didn't need to buy that again.
