Dear all,

This vast world consists of tons of doctors . But m ashamed about doctors , researchers and whom all related to medical field . Pls try finding solution for all diseases . Why till now there is no medicine for tinnitus and bell’s palsy. This both came to me at age of 28. How can I get married and how can I live in this f****g world. That’s decided to go away from this world . There is no god . If god s there he won’t play with me like this . From my birth god s playing . Took away my mom when I born . While studying school dad married other marriage . Lot of troubles for dress, food , etc,.... now became a position and decided to get married but this f^*^*g god happily gave me bell’s palsy and tinnitus . I can’t workout more . More enuf. Good bye everyone

Please hold on.  You've had a tough life, but things really can get better.  I speak from experience.  Talk to a sympathetic doctor or support group.  They are out there and worth looking for.  You cannot let tinnitus win and a cure or relief may be just round the corner.  Bell's Palsy does improve with time.  Lots of us, although we don't personally know you, want you to hang on.  Don't let your wretched problems win and cause you to self-harm.  .best wishes.

Hi there, I am new too this forum but not Tinnitus.  Had it for 12 years.  I also  had a Bells Palsy around the same time.  Docs said nothing could be done for either.

The Tinnitus I have got around by giving it a name.  My sound is in both ears and it is a constant hissing.  So that one is called Hissing Sid.  And if he is getting on my nerves, I  tell him to jog on.  Any distraction works well.

I have just this last month developed another sound as well and that sounds like a road sweeper moving along the curbs.  Now during the night I can deal with Sid, got used to him - but this new boy is annoying me.  Don't hear it through the day because of the radio on or out shopping etc but in the silent night I can.  So he is getting the name Roger the Road Sweeper.  I will do the same to him.

I have today been looking at videos on utube of Chinese head movement to stimulate the ear/brain - have you looked at any?  Don't know if they will work but loads of responses seem to say yes.

The Bells Palsy I had for 2 weeks, the drooped eye and mouth went back to normal.  Although when I was tired my eyelid would blink more slowly than the other.  But did not stop me working or going out.  That took about 2 months and then ok.  There was once no help for it but now there is Botox.

Don't despair, look into the Botox and the exercises.  I totally do not agree with Doctors when they say that nothing  can be done - it can.

Hang on a while longer.  See how you feel in two weeks.  Talk here in the forum.  What you say you intend to do may not have the result you think you want.  It could cause a liife-long illness,  People on this forum want to help and understand.
