Twelve days - yes, you know it, that is early days.

We all get 'poopy' days when we're under the weather, hope your Doc responds soon and sorts you out pronto.

Lack of energy - are you eating enough to power your body ... it needs a lot of fuel to recover.

Foot kicking inside - Sorry, can't help, as a bloke I have never experienced that.

Dizzy and faint - sounds like low blood pressure - it was when I felt like that.

    Best wishes

Funny, I passed out twice in hospital too, just not like me at all.  Horrible feeling. Had to call a friend (a nurse).

That foot kicking inside could be wind from the op or just the manhandling you suffered while you were "out of it"  THR is a physically tough procedure which involves a lot of pulling and tugging to dislocate the largest joint in the body.

That said, the body is marvellous at recovering from trauma and will soon forget and move on. Plenty of rest, pain killers, anything to take your mind off the pain, bit of a nap helps too.

We all have bad days, and you just need to tell someone, no good bottling things up, talking helps, others could be in the same situation.

I know the feeling of being kicked in the ribs, but can't help there, could you be pregnant?

At least you have done the right thing and phoned the doc, I also had low blood pressure, maybe that's why I fell in hospital. Just be very careful if your feeling light headed, don't chance moving about, are you by yourself?

Hope the doc comes with good news.

    Take care

I think it must of been ok, but i had low blood pressure a day later, I fell in the night and they did 2 hourly obs on me, never said it was low then, maybe just me being unsteady.

I felt like I fell backwards slowly, fell of my zimmer, and tried not to land on the op side, elbows got the worst of it, couple of scrapes.

    Dear khippie,

I hope the Dr. has called you back by this time -

Yes darling, in addition to physical stuff we also go through emotional ones -

Did you lose a lot of blood or more like spotting?   You could have low blood pressure or maybe a bit anemic -

Be gentle with Worried Girl today -

    stay warm

    big warm hug

Hi renee , seemed quite alot . Dr has called n never thought necessary to visit , he thinks bleeding may be due to the strong meds counteracting the pill and changing hormone levels meabing body thinks time for a period ?? Possible I suppose . With regards to ribs he has prescribed more pain killers and gard swelling should go q not concerned about light headed n nausea but if no better 24-48 hours to call him back !!

      Many thanks n hugs

      Xx
