Tomorrows the day

Tomorrow morning I get my long awaited new hip! I'm Not nervous about surgery, just not looking forward to the recovery. But I think I'm ready and as prepared as I can be. Pray all goes well.

This forum has been really beneficial in helping me prepare for the highs and lows of this ordeal. Thanks to everyone.

    Hope all goes well Carla, had mine done on Saturday, like having a lead weight lifted off your shoulders

    Good Luck, you'll be so happy you had it done as soon as you wake up. Pain will be gone!

    6 hours post op! Stood up twice to go pee and sat in a chair for an hour. Spinal has worn off, so pain is setting in. But this to shall pass.

    Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. Everything went smooth and I was completely bone in bone, hence all my pain.
