Tooth extraction 5 months ago. Gum still not healed.

After a tooth extraction 5 months ago the gum still hasn't healed. My dentist referred me to hospital where i saw a specialist who sent me for an xray.

He said there was a shadow in that area and now organised a ct scan. After that a biopsy. I would be interested to hear if anyone else has been through this as i am becoming very nervous.

I have had a sore inflamed gum for years. Been to 5 dentists, 4 oral surgeons, 2 periodontists, and had 3 teeth removed. I have had 4 biopsies, 2 teeth removed and a permanent bridge removed. The biopsies all of which came back citing only an inflammation. I have had pain in the area for 5 years.. No one can find out why I have this problem. I am frustrated and at my wits end.
