Treatment info for Blepharitis

Has anyone found treatment info specifically for Blepharitis? I'm told the same old things like "scrub with baby shampoo" and I'm not getting any better.
I'm frustrated and hope that some doctor somewhere has studied this terrible condition - and just want to find the answers!
Thank you,

The Wet Ones were the only treatment that worked for me. If you will read Lynda's suggestions and follow them, I think they will work for you. Now I only use them when my eyes get red, teary and itchy which is not often. My optometrist is impressed with my results. Good Luck!

Dear Sandra,
The Red Wet Ones seem to have changed and now I think the yellow ones are like the original with leaf juice as the last ingredient. I used the yellow ones on my lashes to make sure they did not bother me like the red ones did years ago and I left it on and did not rinse off and all was fine.
I don't have Blepharitis any longer but didn't want to recommend it until I used it on my eyes.
Hope this info will help for future use.

Hi Lynda,
I stocked up on the red Wet Ones (ordered a case). They seem to be still working. I use them in the morning and at night. Once in awhile my yes get itchy and teary and I use them more often. Have not tried the yellow ones. Thanks for the "heads up".

Lynda,
Why do you think the red ones have changed? Are the ingredients still the same? Maybe mine still work because I ordered them over a year ago from Amazon. When I run out I will order the yellow. I have been afraid Big Pharma would find out about Wet Ones and chnage the formula, so that is why I stocked up.

Dear Sandra,
Someone mentioned on this site they had changed so I looked and the ones I had were different as original ones ended with the leaf juice. So it may be the area they are made in. I did use the yellow on my eyes to make sure they were like the original though.
I can't say why it is good to examine them when we buy new. I am stocking up on the yellow now. Friends or family could need them in the future. There are other things too like that product in Canada that had Benzethonium Chloride in it. She was allergic and found them. I posted about that again as it has been a couple of years since she posted that info on this site.
I like the Tea Tree Oil info too. People need options.
You were smart to stock up.

I also suffer from this. I have bought freederm facial wipes as they have the benzalkonium chloride. My question is, how do I use them?
I am finding it difficult without going in the eye.
Thanks

i wrap one round my finger and wipe inside to outside then move my finger to a clean part and repeat inside to out.
i do this a few times and throw away the wipe
then I repeat on the other eye.

I read on this forum almost 2 years ago about the Wet Ones wipes treatment after being severely depressed unable to understand this horrible mysterious condition I developed called blepharitis, I was also diagnosed with Lupus, stress would trigger on a Lupus flair and along with the flair came my blepharitis flair up. I could not wear any make up it would trigger a flair up and would spend lots of money on buying new make up each time. My upper eye lids would flake, burn swell puff up. It would last for days and weeks.
Embarrassing times at work and in my personal life..people thought i was up crying or had some personal problems..
So I started using the wipes in feb 2014 after reading a helpful blog and forum here. I could say I may have had 1 very small flair up in these 2 years since that lasted a day or so..but its never come back.. i also switched to Almay hypo allergenic eye makeup line which is quite wonderful.
So I only used the red bottle from the wipes the one with the 0.03% active ingredient.. twice per day .. before my showers . i dont was my eyes with any soap i gently wipes eyelids.. then use another clean part of the same wipe and clean all ares of the eyes including the lid and lashes and after jump in the shower and let the water rinse through my eyes.. i hope this can help some one out there. I try not to let the stress overtake me and eat sleep and excerise..its the only cure ive found that works.
Hang in there..

You could, do the warm compresses help? I use them so often during the day that I don't mess with the warm compresses.
