ultrasound showed thickening of the lining of the womb

Hi...sorry haven't been on here for a while...i hope all went well on the 24th...i understand u would be very worried...hope your pain has gone now...i still have another week to my appontment...please let me know how it went x

 hi went to hospital said nothing bad then got offerd coil i said no then was given norethisterone, it hasnt worked exept make me bloat more and also still have pains period pains, i was bleeding heavy till three days ago and then started on pills it stoped first day then second day i had a spot then today this morning it came back then as of this moment its very light again, so feel like it was all a wased time going hospital as im no better and feel rubish. so im thinking now il just have to put up with this for how ever long itl take till menoporse is done with im 47 it could take years gooness sake stupid hospital. the reason i said no to coil was about 15 years back i had it and it made me put weight on had iregular heavy periods and headachs so had it taken out. i dont know what to do now. went out to seaside yesterday and felt rubish did t know wether to wear tampax or not i jsut dont know when itl happen so did all day kept checki g and only one spot till i got home and then middle of night back to light bleed. if this is all homone related then i just dont know what to do i dont want to take homone pills for ever i dont like taking them. i was hoping theyd give me a scrape but no he didnt even mention it at all.

im glad its not cancer but hope they didnt miss somthing .

iv not read of anyone bleeding for so long none stop in perimeno yet iv read of some having heavy bleeds for few weeks at a time with breaks and then missing to have more but not like me none stop. i was hoping someone would come on whos been thrpugh meno and past it who would say yep i was like that for months then it finaly stoped for good.i feel tierd more now and im looking older maybe it is meno.

 

Thanks for letting me know how u are....not that i am much help to you...i don't know anyone in your situation bleeding for so long.....the only thing i can tell you is that there are tablets you can get from the dr to  slow the bleeding  down...they are called Tranexamic acid for heavy bleeding during periods...they do not stop it though, they just help if its heavy...i would have them myself but i don't like the side affects they can clot blood in other parts of your body and my family has a long history of blood clots thats how my mum and dad passed away...so dr will not give me them.

I wish i could be more help....i know how you feel though...i am at the point were i feel like begging the dr to refer me for a hysterectomy and just be done with the lot of it x

Hi I'm on noretersterone for a heavy bleed in March which showed no sign of letting up,please persevere with it as it stopped my

Bleeding within days but I do spot with it but the heavy bleeding has gone,I'm Bloated too what did they say the thick lining was ? Mine is 11mm not sure if my spotting is breakthrough bleeding on notethesterone bur I am waiting for a hysteroscopy xxx

I have been bleeding for months at a time since the end of November last year. I bled from end November through to the end of March and a lot of the time it was really heavy with huge clots. I have then bled on and off pretty much for the rest of the time with three weeks off at the most, but usually only a week before I bleed again. I have just had a hysteroscopy done (my second) and for the second time they found and removed a polyp. I was told that polyps bleed like crazy so I am hoping that was the cause of it. I have to wait three weeks for the biopsy results now. But in January my lining was 12mm, no idea what it is now, they didnt tell me
