Unbearable pain with genital herpes

I got told I had genital herpes about 3 days ago, my outbreak is awful they're all over my vagina. They're so painful. I've had to have a catheter fitted because no matter what I try to be able to pass urine I can't, I cry I scream! They don't seem to be getting any better I can't walk or do pretty much anything. I think this must be a very bad break out. I'm a mother to one baby and I feel as though I can't mother him how I usually would because I can hardly do anything! Luckily I have support around me. Anyone give me advice to take the pains away? I cannot cope. Thankyou

    I'm in the same boat. I've been on medication for 2 days now and I feel worse today... going pee is unbearable! Someone help us!

      My first out break went after 2 weeks, now I'm feeling another coming on and it's scaring the hell out of me because I know how painful it is!! I feel itchy, i have a headache, aches all over and they're all the symptoms sad just what I need! Let me know how you're getting on. If you feel like you can't pass urine because your in that much pain go up to out of hours doctor and see what they can do x

      I really doubt it's another one Hun

      It sounds like you're just coming down with a cold, the second outbreak wouldn't cause those flu symptoms again

      Plus the second one is no where near the first one trust me

      Of course you will feel a bit itchy and tingly down there, the virus lies on your nerves

      Thank god for that I can stop stressing now haha, I think the whole thing is just a massive stress isn't it! 😬

      And that sounds about right sometimes wounds itch when healing don't they? X

      it feeds of stress so relax and stop thinking about it. Easier said than done, I know. I actually started to breathe in breathe out for 3-5 minutes a few times a day. No scientific proof as if it helps with this crap but it still relax my head so why not try it if you are still feeling stressed. Find a YouTube video.

    Hi girls. Yesterday I went to the clinic as I had two lumps and she said she thought they were warts. But today I’ve woke up with blisters!! And I can’t pee as it’s unbearable to the point I pass out. Has anyone got any relief for the peeing? I’m only 20 so can’t tell my Mam. Thanks

    I had the exact same experience sad I'm also a mother of 2 and felt like I was letting them down. I went to the doctors thinking I had a water infection, was treated for a water infection then the blisters came I went back & was treated for herpes - passing Urine became unbearable I tried everything, in the end I stopped drinking to stop weeing, went to my out of hours and was fitted with a catheter for 4 weeks. I had it removed about 3 weeks ago, and I'm sure my second outbreak is happening and I'm terrified because I know how painful it is. Hope your doing okay !! Xx

    I'm just a teenager and I'm suffering with genital herpes....when I pee, it burns really bad and I wanna cry, I can't walk around, sit down, not even lay down without the feeling of pain. Yes this is my first OB. I haven't had any sleep for 4 days because of the pain, and I CANT handle it anymore, will it burn if I shower? Should I bathe in hot or cool water?...how long will this last?😩 can someone please tell me how to ease the pain please please please please please😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏

    I Know that my doctor told me to get a water bottle or a spray bottle and while peeing u run the water or spray it so the urine is diluted and this has helped so much for me although it's still painful, I was just diagnosed a couple of days ago and it's sad because I contracted it from the man I love. It's awful, painful, unbearable, saddening and embarassing. But it will get better

    I'm 16 years old. I've had herpes for over a year now. Nobody even knows except for my biological mother who I no longer live with. She told everyone about it which hurt me. In the home I live currently nobody knows. I'm so embarassed. I just want to break down. I feel so insecure and I can't talk to anyone about this. I'm experiencing an outbreak currently. This would be my fourth one this year.. usually my outbreaks aren't very bad and only last up to a week so it's been easy to keep it a secret. This time though it's unbearable. It itches so bad I don't know what to do. I even put ice cubes inside of my vagina to somewhat cool and numb the pain, it only works for like an hour then back to the same itching. Any advice ?
