I'm wondering if silk would be good - a sort of satin silk and what they used to call 'french knickers'?  A bit like boxer shorts but in silk, so they're really loose.  In fact, it might be worth trying a pair of mens silk boxers?  But I think others were right about the moisturiser and there seem to be quite a lot on the market but I'd google the ingredients because they vary a lot.

Oh,nearly forgot - I used the vagisil prohydrate intimate wash for the third morning this morning and there is a definite improvement.  Everything is feeling less sore and more moisturised!

      Dear Chris,

I have looked this product up-and there are lots of choices! Which one do you use? They have a choice of internal, external, intimate wash, hydrating gel........are they expensive? do you buy it or is it on prescription? Many thanks

Its vagisil prohydrate intimate wash and I got it from boots.  It's £5.  I was very sore after them attempting the pessary fitting yesterday but showered with it this morning and it immediately felt better.  I'm VERY pleased with it.  I've ordered the external hydrating gel as well, online, from superdrug, who were the cheapest, just to see what it's like and I might well try the internal one at some point in the future.
