Hi everyone. Wanted to share with you that having had my the on 7-11-16 today after weeks of strengthening exercises my physio has taken the crutches off me as my gait has improved so much . So for those who have the T gait please don't despair . Through hard work religiously doing exercise's it's possible to reduce the limp. I feel over the moon although I know that i need to keep up the exercises. Just wanted to share with those that understand !

Well done, that's amazing.  I'm currently waiting on a THR.  My hip is bone on bone , my gait is not good meantime and I walk with a limp and lean towards  one side when I walk.  I was born with a dislocated hip /hip dysplasia that was fixed when I was three. My dad had both hips dislocated and they were never fixed ... it was considered too risky an operation when he was small and he walked from side to side.  I'm very conscious of my gait, moreso because it has worsened as my hip has got worse, and this is a worry for me after my operation.  My hope is it improves, and it's good to read after all your hard work that you are seeing such a great improvement.

Best of luck to you ...Lizbet
