Hi,

Since upping my dosage after a month of 50 mg I am have a lot of intestinal pain and gas bubbles. My stomach sounds like a gurgle machine. Anxiety over all is not worse but it has done a number on my gastrointestinal system.

Anyone else have this experience?

Thanks,

I would def seek some advice .. & Think about the effects your having.. are they worse than what you had before? Dont be afraid to bug them if younfeel like crap all the time... haha.. My Dr Is going to try just adivan & melatonin at night with a small dose of adivan..

because i have had insomnia so bad..

Sometimes i feel meds are pushed a little far..

But thats just me.. I dont like meds..

      They actually dont like me..

      Good luck ..

      Hi Pam,

I took valium ontop of Setraline until the setraline kicked in. I beleive it takes a few weeks to really work other studies say it should work right away. I am now in the process of weaning off of it. but it did more good then harm when i was going through a lot of anxiety due to life problems. life is better now so i think it's a good time for me to wean off. Ask your dr if you can get a valium to help ease the anxiety. I went all the way up to 250 at one point. Weigh gain and stomach issues were a huge side effect but worth it to ease the anxiety. GOOD LUCK!

    & sucked on mylanta..

    Best of luck..

Hi, I am actualy stopping my meds in the hopes it will heal my acid stomach. I have been having on going issues with my stomach and other thing such as not sleeping and weight gain headachs so on. I just started the weaning process. Have you looked into natural suppliments? I am just starting to look into that now.

      Hi,

Not really in fact I believe the drug is working for me, the side affects suck but hoping they don't last too long. Taking it day by day.

Omeprazole helped with the acid stomach for me.
