Upper middle back pain...

I see alot on here where many experience lower back pain, just curious to know if anyone ever gets tightness and burning in the middle upper back. And from time to time like a cramp feeling on my side area like maybe where my ribs are. Its not only annoying but it sends me into panic mode!!!!

A bit but definately cramping across my chest and back. And yes I too panic. I'm going to try Korean Gyseng which is apparently good for brain fog and flushes !

    Hi

I experience upper back and rib pain which I'm now seeing a physio thru work for as doctor was not much help. I've heard lots of woman on here suffering from the same so at least we know we're not alone haha .The rib pain is probably one of my worst symptoms x I am as yet un diagnosed but have lots of peri symptoms.

Have you been checked by gp, mine put all aches and pains down to muscular skeletal problems and won't discuss menopause as I'm 43 and still having periods although they are all over the place. X

I know what you mean about going to doctors. I only went because my husband said I needed to get some answers. I've had breast, back, stomach examinations all clear, internal all clear, stomach and pelvis ultrasound all clear. Along with many different symptoms my periods have gone from 28 days and normal to really heavy and only going about 23 days thee sometimes 25 or 27. X

I do Donna. I believe the back pain and the rib pain tie in together, but have no idea what it is. Mine is under my left ribs, rarely under right. What side is yours? GP prescribed me low dose steroid for 6 days, but I still have it. Hoping to get to the bottom of it , hope you do too!

It could be IBS, I had similar pain a few years ago, pain under left rib , Doctor sent me for a scan, nothing showed up, so ended up going to see a gastric surgeon , which scared me to death, he did a colonoscopy  which was also clear an when i went for results, he said do you get pain here, and ran his finger across my back just under bra, which i did and he said its IBS. your intestines are that high. try spearmint and camomile tea, it really helps me.

But you should go and get it checked out as everyone is different
