Would love to hear from any ladies on this regime as I am scared to commence the Utrogestan as I have read about so many side effects. Reassurance please!

      Hiya

I know what you mean Daisy, Funny alongside the Everol patch I've been told prehaps using utrogestan alongside so both are body identical.  I may just ask for  eostrogen gel rather than patch now. Still need to hang til my nex period in 2 weeks so want to get my prescription right!!!!!

I am ok about the estradot as it is a small patch so should be fine.  it's just that ruddy progesterone!

Let me know how it goes in 2wks, can't wait to hear how you get on

Hi Joanne   thank you for replying. The consultant did say it is the closest to your natural body's progesterone.  I was put off as I read a lot about having to take it before sleeping as it causes vertigo and I just don't need that!   I found the Fem 7 & Evorel Conti suited me but was allergic to the glue which caused my entire thigh to go black and purple!

I wish I could get Testogel but am told it isn't available in UK x

      Hi Daisy,

The consultant who I saw last week said should I need Testostrone (its avaialble in the UK) she will referr me to the main hospital who can prescribe. I've recently joined on a UK menopause FB group which is fantastic and alot of ladies give their experiences of using majority positive x

      Hi Joanne

Yes in menopause.  Been on HRT on and off for the last year.  My Oestrogen was checked by GP 2yrs ago as I had so many symptoms and was found to be zero!

I get the norethisterone thing!   made me grumpy too and miserable!  The Fem 7 has Levonegesterol which suited me but the only other way to get that is Mirena Coil which I am not keen on.  Femoston has Dydrogesterone which is my other option.

Yes same as me my oestrogen always been so low I think femseven tabletbis good as you probably on sequi,? Monthly bleed or has he put you on conti? Hard to know all the different HRT and choosing what suit you all trial error x ps heard good bad re coil I was recommended also but not keen in something in my uterus and then doesn’t suit me 🙄

Hi Joanne  I was on Conti as I have not had hysterectomy and therefore sequi is not suitable.    I had coils years ago as contraception but i am so prone to UTI's now I don't want anything risking more of those, so painful!

Yes I have a womb too but I was on sequi with a light monthly bleed as you start the progesterone mid cycle . I had not really heard of continuous hrt  but I had to have a bleed as young for menopause saying that still bleeding now on conti 🙄they say conti more safe and I have daily utrogestan, saying that may have to up if bleeding doesn’t settle but for now put up with it and give more time to settle x
