Vagina bubble feeling, symptom of B.V?

Posted , 58 users are following.

I had my son 9 months ago, I had a second degree tear and stitches, I was fine at first I then had sexual intercourse 5 weeks post baby and then showered (including my vagina, which I know can change the PH balance, leading to B.V) and that’s when I began to feel what could only be described as the feeling of bubbles in my vagina.

I also have a lot more discharge, which can be watery but also clumpy. I went to the doctors numerous times and was tested for Thrush, Cystitis, Bacterial Vaginosis, STDs etc and they all came out negative (although I was given and took medication for Cystitis and Bacterial Vaginosis, before the results came back) I think in the end the doctor got fed up with me and told me it was normal post baby.

I can’t see how this can be normal as it is really uncomfortable to live with and can really get me down. The excess discharge also makes my vagina sore.

The bubble feeling tends to get worse when I urinate and just before my period is due and I sometimes bleed a little after sex (not sure if this is related)

I thought it might be Bacterial Vaginosis, thats how I got the medication for it, but the swabs came back negative twice (although I have read it can be difficult to diagnose and treat) so I'm still not sure if it is. Either way I am desperate to get rid of this bubble feeling, and any doctors I have seen, do not seem to know what I am talking about, so if anybody else has experienced this bubble feeling, it would be great to hear from you.

Try getting treated for Trichomoniasis. ...it's worth a try....medicine name is Flagyl (which is also a medicine to treat many other symtoms too)

Hello. I just found this page when I was searching for my symptoms. I am sorry that my english is very bad but i'm starting to be desperat about finding out whats wrong with me. I have a feeling of a bubble or that something is coming out of my vagina. but its nothing there. I also have some pain on the lips (dont know if thats the word for it in English). it feels like burning or stinging or something like that. its pretty hard to explain. I have been to the doctor but they cant see anything wrong. Do you have the same symptoms as me and what was wrong with you and did you get any help?

oh my goodness. I've been researching for months and have the exact same symptoms as you!! went to the doctor-all test came back negative. my symptoms seem to come and go. its been about two months of the worst pain and my lips get so swollen and tender/ almost like raw to the point i cant walk- that pain goes away for a few days then comes back (espeically after i drink). i know the pain is usually about to come back when i start feeling the little bubble sensation. i told my doctor and she thinks im crazy.

i have no idea what elsse it could be- we've ruled out everything

HI, I had very similar symptoms few years ago, recently happened to me again. Its almost impossible to diagnose the cause of this problem. I an not experiencing any discharge though. I did have a kuret and discovered i had polyps. The bubbling went anyway for 2 years until recently.

I also had so many tests for UTI for Thrush STD Bactarial infections like u, all was negative

I was told by my GP it coukd also be a hormonal problem to, or if u are also going through menopause your body changes sometimes and cant do some really crazy things

    Hey ladies!!

ok so if u find having sugar or carbs is causing u bubbling, its a possibility u may be diabetic.

Im diabetic and suffer with some cimplications down there because of it. People with diabetes are prone to so many health problems, inside and out. It can really cause your body havic, including peeing to much and vaginal thrush to, at times bladder problems which may be associated with your kidneys. I Just found out that i have a cyst in my kidney which is causing me bladder inflammation and peeing to much, which may being on that bubbling feeling. Hope this info is helpful to some of you ladies. BELIEVE ME, i feel for u all.

ive recently started noticing the bubbling feeling. It almost feels like something is wiggling in my vagina. It freaks me out! i dont have any other symptoms like vaginal pain, itchiness, and my discharge is always clear and normal. I've never had kids and im not sexually active. Has anyone figured out what is causing this?

I have this bubble feeling too in my vagina, feels like at the entrance. Now for almost a year. Everything is negative, STI, BV, yeast, Ureaplasma. I also had a lot of burning, but that is better now. I took Flagyl, a weeklong yeast treatment, boric acid, probiotics orally and vaginally. Now on estrogen for 7 weeks already, but it is not helping. The only other thing that I have is large amount of creamy white discharge with bubbles in it. Some bubbles are visible to the eye, but some I only see with a magnifying glass. Is that the normal discharge? I never checked my discharge before for bubbles, but now I wonder if it is this discharge that causes the bubble feeling. It just kind of sits there and rarely goes on my underwear. I just wipe it off when I go to the bathroom. Could it be that many of us here have a discharge from maybe imbalance that causes this bubble feeling? I still don't know what to do with it.

    Hi Anita

im not sure of your age but i was told by my Dr that if u r going through menopause your body can experience different things due to hormonal changes. And if its not menopause i woujdnt worry about it to much, its nothing serious but can be quite annoying and umcomfortable.

It's been a year, not 10 years. No, I still don't know what is going on. I am going through menopause. I have the burning and itch-like pain returned again. I have tons of white creamy discharge with bubbles in it. I am taking estrogen for the past 2.5 months, but it hasn't helped at all.

    hello there.

wow.my relief to hear other people are having these bubbles and I can tell people my daughter isn't imaging it.

My daughter is 5 and has suffered with this for over a year.

we have been back and forth to the doctors so many times. we've been given creams but they did not work.

I took all the information from this group to the doctors but they don't have a clue and they have swabbed her a few times now and all clear.

they asked the peadotrician who said to bath in table salt.

My poor girl is suffering and it's sad that no one can help.

I asked.for anti biotics but refused.

Any body have any further advice seeing as you know more than the GPS.

    THANKYOU x

I am so sorry your daughter is going through this. When I was a young girl, I've head some poking feeling and some bubble feeling and I was given some liquid medicine that I had to use in a sitz bath. Perhaps it had some antiseptic and/or antibiotics it it. I've read that BV may be resistant to Flagyl, but may be susceptible to other antibiotics, such as Clindamycin. Sometimes it's given as a vaginal cream. I think I will ask for it next time.
