Vagina bubble feeling, symptom of B.V?

Posted , 58 users are following.

I had my son 9 months ago, I had a second degree tear and stitches, I was fine at first I then had sexual intercourse 5 weeks post baby and then showered (including my vagina, which I know can change the PH balance, leading to B.V) and that’s when I began to feel what could only be described as the feeling of bubbles in my vagina.

I also have a lot more discharge, which can be watery but also clumpy. I went to the doctors numerous times and was tested for Thrush, Cystitis, Bacterial Vaginosis, STDs etc and they all came out negative (although I was given and took medication for Cystitis and Bacterial Vaginosis, before the results came back) I think in the end the doctor got fed up with me and told me it was normal post baby.

I can’t see how this can be normal as it is really uncomfortable to live with and can really get me down. The excess discharge also makes my vagina sore.

The bubble feeling tends to get worse when I urinate and just before my period is due and I sometimes bleed a little after sex (not sure if this is related)

I thought it might be Bacterial Vaginosis, thats how I got the medication for it, but the swabs came back negative twice (although I have read it can be difficult to diagnose and treat) so I'm still not sure if it is. Either way I am desperate to get rid of this bubble feeling, and any doctors I have seen, do not seem to know what I am talking about, so if anybody else has experienced this bubble feeling, it would be great to hear from you.

I am 66 years old and for the past 3 weeks have had Virginia bubbling and a discharge which is bad enough that I have to use extra long panty pads. I got through 60 in 4 days and it was very embarrassing!

i have also had really bad constipation which is extremely uncomfortable.

i have been to the doctor and she has taken swobs but the result came back negative. Don't know what to do now!

It's more than likely a yeast overgrowth. 3 day generic monistat worked for me! Also, chiropractic care will help with your other symptoms.

It's just a thought. What if this air bubble feeling it's something that just doesn't show up on these tests, this air bubble pest is that rare that no doctor seems to know what it is, as well as many consultants, so how would they know what to look for to show up?

I have a bubbling from my front passage. It has now been discovered that I have a Fistula. A gap from my bowel to my front passage. I presume I will have to have surgery!

Do you mean you were experiencing the bubbeling feeling coming out from where you pee?

Thanks for clarifying smile did you have any other symptoms ?

I have the bubble feeling as well as irritation. I have the symptoms of a fistula but I haven't had any children, trauma, radiation, etc.

I'm so glad to see some fairly recent posts in hopes of gaining some insight from you. I too have the annoying bubble feeling, but with other symptoms as well. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing what other symptoms you're experiencing.

I have been having the bubble feeling and BV-like symptoms for about a year and a half. More recently I have been having abnormal bleeding between my periods. It became so heavy it scared me and I went to my dr. I was told I'm pre-menopausal and this is normal. I'm in my late 30's. A week later, I was still bleeding heavily and feeling very dizzy. This visit, an ultrasound showed a cyst on my ovary. I was told they are common and the cyst is a separate issue from the bleeding. I was prescribed birth control and told they'd refer me to a gyn. That was two weeks ago, and still waiting on that referralrolleyes I know this is a bit more than symptoms mentioned in the original post, but I feel somehow it's all related for me. Is there anyone with similar experience?? I'd appreciate any feedback. Thank you so much!

Yes, an odor, that bubbly sensation, pain w sex, I was tired all the time and was constantly sick, couldn't get completely well. Found out I had a tampon stuck that had been there for some months. Once I got it out I immediately started to feel better but that bubbly sensation was still there and that's when I treated for yeast. That worked and it went away but when my period came on that symptom came back so I will be doing another treatment! I really hope you find some answers to what's going on with you but I would recommend also seeking upper cervical chiropractic care if you don't already have a good chiropractor. Your nervous system runs everything in your body and ensuring your nervous system is free and clear from interference is extremely important for ones ultimate health!

So I ran across this thread looking for answers to what that bubbly feeling is down there. I've been experiencing it for the better part of this year and I've tried antibiotics and home remedies and nothing seems to work. That bubbly feeling is the only symptom I have so I wouldn't think that it would be an infection. After talking to my mom, she made me aware that yeast does produce gas and if I had too much yeast then that could be what's causing that feeling even though I don't have any other symptoms which would indicate a yeast infection. So she recommended I get some Monistat. I bought the 3-day generic version and after not finding any answers here or anywhere else on the internet, decided to just try it. I used one dose of the generic 3 day Monistat last night and today I have had no bubbles! So with this I am concluding there was an imbalance in me which was too much yeast. I feel at this point I'm going to leave well enough alone and not use any more of the generic monestat and see what happens over the course of time. Hopefully that one dose got rid of enough yeast that my body may be able to rebalance its pH and I won't have that symptom anymore. I just wanted to share what I've tried and what has so far worked. I hope this may work for all of you dealing with this oh so annoying symptom!

Hello! I'm wondering if you ever got this figured out as I am dealing with the same thing currently. Thx!

Yes! I believe it was an overgrowth of yeast. Although one treatment of the three-day Monistat did eliminate that annoying feeling, my mom enouraged me to go ahead and use the entire 3-day treatment which I did. It's been over a week and I have had no symptoms at all! And even the smell I had been dealing with is gone! Thanks Mom!

Thx so much! I just bought the monistat! Will let u know how it goes! I go to the uro-gyne on dec 5th. Hopefully I can cancel that! I've had numerous ultrasounds and testing and no one can figure it out! Thx JtotheA!!

Great! I really hope it works for you as well as I have been to the doctor and they gave me no answers too. The antibiotics are what knock our pH out of whack so keep that in mind in the future! Let me know your results!
