I feel your pain. I'm walking up consistently at around 4 am. I do day back to sleep, but it's weird, I know I'm trying to sleep, does that make sense. It's not like waking up after a full night's sleep at 6am like I used to do. I've tried trazadone, melatonin, Ativan, clonopin.... At first they all work, but then stop. I still have a bit of anxiety even after increasing my dose from 75 to 150.... It's definitely manageable, but as you know, anxiety escalates when sleep deprived. I was very active up until 4 months ago.... Walking 3 miles a day. And that definitely helped with sleep. I was drinking hot milk before bed, too. That always helped. So maybe I need to start doing that again. I'm just so sick and tired of this. Menopause isn't helping either.

Hi Karen. How much magnesium do you take? I'm coming off ven and have also just changed from quetiapine to Aripiprazole. The withdrawal from Ven is awful but I think I'm getting there. The quetiapine made me sleep but with not having it last night I think I got about 3hrs sleep!

How many mgs of Ven are you coming off of?  Are you tapering per a Dr's schedule?  What are your side effects so far?

Hi Barbara. My psychiatrist told me to cut from 150mg to 75mg (as I shouldn't have been prescribed them as they made me hypomanic). Side affects were increased sweating, confusion, really bad anxiety, shake hands. It's easing a bit now though.

Oh you poor thing.  Well if it's easing a bit now hopefully you'll be through it all very soon.    Best of Luck to you!

I bought it from Amazon it's called magnasium glycinate it's in a white and green pouch it's 60 for £8.99. I have been sleeping better I don't know if it's just a coincidence though that it's that making me sleep. But I was willing too try anything and the reviews were like 99 out of 100 for sleep go and have a look n see what u think xxx

Hi Karen. Will give it a try. Have been really unwell thru nite and tday. I was changed from quetiapine to Aripiprazole with no taper from quetiapine by psychiatrist. Withdrawal horrendous. Worst anxiety I've experienced. Had to go down to my dad's this morning at 7am was so scared of how I was feeling! Haven't slept in 48hrs. Was sick as well and unable to sit or stand still. Psych never warned me about withdrawal and heard it from mental health nurse instead! Waiting to hear back from my doc to get some kind of tranquillizer to calm me down!
