I used to.  When panic sets in or we overly focus on how we are feeling it tends to set everything off.  Low light situatuions usually set that panic feeling off for me.  Self talk and controlled breathing always seemed to help when I felt that way.

I was just casually eating there was 4 of us chatting away then bam my head felt dizzy I felt like was gonna faint heavy head ect. I carried on eating then after went out the room & settled down again. What you thinkk that is? Do you think was the lighting? Or like eating movements? Bizzare rolleyes

I had occasions like that and lighting was what affected me.  I also had issues sometimes if it was bright outside and the room was somewhat dimmer and I was looking out of a window.  There were also occasions where just out of the blue I would have a rush of a feeling like I was going to get dizzy and then panic would set in and heighten the feelings.

I believe what helped me most was a low sodium diet to help rid the body of excess fluid retention.  This should help the reduction of fluid on the inner ear for vestibular neuritis.

Yeah its very dim where we eat so many that effected me. My eye site has also got very bad since being on the iPad iPhone ect. Iv got a eye test booked for 29th for a check up plus my glasses are broken.

Hope the diet works for you

Actually, I was suggesting that you may want to give the low sodium a try.  I believe that it helped me and a lot of other posters have indicated that it was recommended for them.

      Just a suggestion.

Hi Michelle, hope you're better than yesterday - I get attacks sometimes when eating, I guess I put it down to it being more stressy than normal, even though it shouldn't be.

You know what I had two glasses of red wine last night and it cleared the heavy head completely, not saying I'm going to drink every night now but it was a nice change to feel almost normal.

Sitting in the sun now, can;t do any harm.

Probably because it relaxed you. Unfortunately I don't touch alcohol, but have forgotten what it feels like to relax.

I went shops today and everything was swaying and had hold onto the side of the

I too have problems with my right eye, when I turn or look to my right, my eye bobs up and down and consequently affects my balance. For over a year I had vestubular exercises but they did not work for me.  My consultant wants me to take medication that is given for epilepsy but this would only help10% and the side affects are horrendous. I have refused to take this medication. Hope the exercises work for you.
