Hey, about 3 months ago now i felt very panicky and ill - spaced out and dizzy. I would just want to lay in bed to hide away from it. Long story short i got diagnosed with Labrinthitus at A&E since then i was on escitalopram for a month and was very nervous taking them so stopped. I kept going to my GP and they said anxiety and then BPPV. I did exercises but no luck, my eyesight has gone and i wear glasses to help my head also feels weird and i cant focus on a object very well. Im also very tired!! I couldnt take anymore so saw a ENT specialist at hospital and he checked my hearing and said i have vestibular neuritus but i feel as though there is not enoigh testing i am only 24 and shouldnt be feeling like this. Im worse at night and feel very faint aswell going to the shops is a nightmare i feel like its driving my eyes crazy and my legs go like jelly!! Anyone feel the same?

I'm sure the MRI will be fine, I've got one in a few weeks but my specialist says he doesn't think it'll find anything. It's like a viscous circle, the more dizzy you feel, the more you worry about it which causes more of the dizziness. Take care and hope you're better soon! 😊

Don't worry, I've had 4 MRIs previously for my ear (post surgery) and they never used contrast. I did have contrast once for a heart MRI and I was really nervous and worried as I have loads and loads of allergies but it didn't affect me at all, you'll be fine, it's just a bit noisy (they'll give you ear plugs for that)!
