Yes I get all of this, I know it's scary I haven't been sleeping cause of it. I went to the hospital yesterday cause of this and pulled out big chunks of wax as gross as that sounds.. it did help take some pressure away. You may want to try that. You are not alone with those symptoms , there the worst cause they are not typical ones. Lack of sleep of course causes more anxiety it's a lose / lose. Just know that it is normal to have these symtoms.

I hate this. I think it has a lot to do with blood pressure from the anxiety too. This is definitely anxiety related. One dr. I saw Called it vibratory tinnitus. But I have noticed when i calm down so does it. Its awful. Feel it, hear the whole thing is awful. The thumping is your blood by the way. Supposedly some of us the anatomy is set up too close or a high sitting artery to close to the auditory area. Nothing that needs fixing but thismisnwhy we get this. Deep belly breathing, focus on lowering your blood pressure whilst in the anxiety and meditation helps.
You are not alone in this. Freeaking out would be the oppositie of what you need to do. Ginger, fresh holy basil, celery juice..these are good for it. B complex anything that can calm you and lower the blood pressure a bit, literally the pressure. Its the vascular effects of a lot of anxiety and stress. You are not alone. It is awful! It is interestingly in your control to calm it. xanax works too haha. But i once laid in bed and it did oass in a couple of hours on its own. I have used melatonin at. night as well. I also have tmj so i make sure i care for that during those times to,
this is different from brain zaps. It is literally vibrations and issues you feel and hear. Be sure you do not have tmj this is common with tmj as well. But then again thats from bad stress too. And drink a lot,of water. Water is so useful. Rehydrated and gets the pressure down and walking is great.
On a non anxiety note tmj and sinus can cause some of this too. When i had the flu it was way worse.

Hi Maryann I have been really unwell for 2 months now with lots of awful weird symptoms. I've had lots of blood tests and nothing has showed up and I'm waiting on a specialist appt but my doctor and the doctor at the ER have both said it could be anxiety and like you I have the awful vibrating feeling in my head at night it wakes me up several times and the noise is almost like wind blowing inside my head. Does that sound like yours at all. I also have awful episodes during the day where I'm all shaky and tremory inside with a feeling of extreme nervousness but on the outside look normal. I also feel like I'm walking on a boat. Some days are worse than others but I havnt felt normal for 2 months now.

That walikng on the boat feeling is cruel.
I only had it when the anxiety was véy high over a few days.. i walked like a drunk .. But when i got my mind calmer... it took another few days and then that subsided.
You just get rid of one thing and another crops up..
Gosh doesnt it just show how strong and tough someone with anxiety is... Your average person would never cope with the rubbish anxiety throws at your mind and body .
Keep your chin up x

Hi Lee
It is very hard to accept it's anxiety when you feel so bad.
Even though i am 95% better i still have the odd lingering physical symptoms as they take longer to subside and sometimes a new symptom can appear.
But i try to carry on as normal.
I am 57 and i work full time... still dont know how i got through it last year but i did.
Like today at work walking around and tending to sick poorley people i was fine but as soon as i stopped my head wouldnspin , dizzy and foggy head and a wobble. I wanted to say let me get in the bed move over.. But once i set off to the next one i was fine again.
Weird but because i now accept it's anxiety and tell my self that in my head it helps.
I hope things improve soon for you mindful meditation was the best thing i did and i still do it morning and night.
You can find guided ones on the net they are very good difficult to get into but well worth the effort xx

Hi Gill thank you so much for your reply. It really helps so muchto hear from someone else with such similar symptoms. It's just so weird as I went to bed last and didn't think I was anxious but woke several times in the early hours of the morning with the vibrating noise going off in my head it's kind of like a truck idling or a generator running in my head it's so anoying. You are doing an amazing job to be still working each day looking after other sick people when you are feeling like that. I'm in New Zealand so it's morning here so I'm feeling at my worst but you've inspired me to keep pushing on and telling myself it's nothing sinister. Thank you
