Vitamin D Deficiency!

Posted , 10 users are following.

Just had my blood work translated to me at last, I have a vitamin D deficiency which, so I was just told could well be one of the reasons I have been having boob issues.

Also my eyesight was going blurry, and considering I had lazic surgey last year it seemed weird!

So ladies please get your Vit D checked.

It can also cause muscle aches and joint pain. Mine was tested the other year, found to be low and the GP prescribed high dose Vit D to cure it. She suggested that when I finished the course I bought some and took it to stop it happening again.

Hi Taz, I also get muscle and joint pain and have just found my vit D level to be insufficient. Did the extra vit D help? Going to Dr next week to ask how much I need to take to correct the deficiency. Xx

    Hi Astrid..

Furthermore, estrogen plays a role in activating vitamin D, meaning that the estrogen deficiency that comes with menopause could worsen any problems with vitamin D deficiency.

so as peri and menopaise is reached you need good supplements..

so glad you were checked ..  Low D can be quite dangerous ..

i take mine for bone health... i also get plenty of sunshine D living in Spain

take care Astrid.. Thanks again for the awareness

Hi Jay,  Do you take your vitamins all at once or spread them out during the day?

Wouldn't it be overwhelming for the body to handle and organize different vitamins all at once?   I was wondering? Night night dear neutral

      Hi Dottie

hahaha i vary abit with my tabs

On my iron days i take that early with folic acid on an empty stomach...

then abit later i take my B6, B1, Menapol plus x 2, Maca, pro biotic straight down the hatch together with a small bottle of water.

at night before bed i chew my natecal ( Vit D & Calcium) then drink my magnesium ...

      Have a great day Dottie
