vitamins for menopause

Hi can anyone help.Im taking quite a few tablets at the momment to help with the menopause,and worrying if im taking too many.Im taking menopace,magneseum black cohosh,and seasalt kelp to stop my hair from falling out.Im also on amytriplin at night and blood pressure tablets.it seems soooo much,my friend said i should be careful,but its hard when you need them to make you feel better.Is anyone else taking this many?

    I know what you mean. We have so much that can benefit us at this I'm, but we'd be popping pills all day!

    Given that you're taking prescribed meds, I'd chat to your GP before taking anything else.

    'Innocent' vits & mins don't always interact well with some prescribed meds/some are bloody dangerous!

    Me? I hate taking, and have been lucky not to ever had to take meds for any illness (famous last words of a 54yr old!!). All I'm taking now is a one-a-day Menopace Original min/vit supplement. I feel great for it, especially with my previously aching joints. Also a bit of Bioidentical Progesterone Cream. Seems to be working for me.

    Personally if I were taking any prescribed meds, I'd check with my GP first. I know with family members how their issues with blood pressure affected their lives if their meds were not quite right.

      hi i have just found a good site girls, its drug interaction,I have just put in my medication and it comes back if it has any interactions.Lucky enough all the vitamins im taking are ok,but funny enough the 2 prescribed by my gp says it causes low metabilison.sorry about spelling.Interesting !!!!
