Maybe splash out and go to the hairdresser, or get a mobile hairdresser to come to you... just a nice treat!

I washed my hair in the kitchen sink the day after I got home and got on okay with that.  We have a mixer tap and was able to get my head under that, it was a bit messy but found I didn't have any problems.  Good luck with your shower cap.  I didn't know about these until afterwards and it was a bit late then.

    Hi Catrina

I've rea the reports on shower caps  with shampoo in them. I havent tried them

What I have tried is a liqid shampo but its one that you dont need to use water.

I sat in a chair, My husband put it on my head {like an ordinary shampoo} You then lather it, and after that you just towel dry it. I didnt believe that it would work......somehow drying it with the lather still on didnt seem right but it works.

I have spina problems as well a having had 2 THR's so sometimes even now I use it. When my back i so sore that the thought of bending over the bath is agony so I use it then....  During my 6 weeks, I splashed out on a hair appointment as well every now an then.

I gt this shampoo on line....amazon.....give it a try

    Good Luck

    Love

I,was able to purchase a sink hose type attachment at a local, beauty supply store, it was made of rubber, light weight like they use in hair salons. You can, attach it right to the sink faucet and wash your hair pretty easy standing.,hope this, helps
