15 pounds in 2 years is amazing I have gained about 50 pounds in 6 months and loosing the weight again is near impossible...... Doctor says the tablets slow metabolism and the tablets may also increase the appetite

Correct I feel alot better than I was last August when I went A&E.... I was in tears, didnt think I would be here to see my children at Christmas etc doctor said if thats how I feel what have I got to lose and something twigged and I started on 50mg and slowly went up to 150mg whilst doing CBT but thats not worked so I am still taking 150mg but dammm the weight gain is crazy.

I am getting back ache daily and although I push myself to do more the circle is it hurts more, doctor has prescribed co-codamol to help with pain and said to try and get over it then if i loose 2kg he will prescribe orlistat which stops fat binding so I am hoping this really does help even a little bit

Does it calm you down Tom? What exactly does it do for you?

I am 29, started last year when I was also 28 even on 150mg if I have a cold or cough I get worse and fall back on diazepam. I have read alot of people on Anti Depressants stop then suffer days/weeks/months later but providing I dont feel as rough as I felt day 1 when I went A&E as I had chest pains then I shall personally continue using them.

It is possible 100mg just isn't enough my doctor said 100mg is about the average now days but if you speak to your doctor they may advice you to go up to 125mg before 150mg

They just make you feel normal (ish) but it does mean once a day you take tablets which sucks. I wouldn't say they calm down, that is what a benzo does in my case I use diazepam. If you have a thumping chest they use a beta blocker such as propanaolol so it is finding what suits you best

I take diazepam at night but for a medical condition. I have been on it for a long time! I think it is making me crazy now.

Personally I would advise against using every single day as the body picks a tolerance up to them and then you require mroe to have the same effect, Diazepam has quiet a long half life aswell so will be in your system still the following day.

Maybe speak to your doctor and look at something like bachs flower remedy which I also use occasionaly

Amazon sell it, I use the dropper and it is just herbal but people swear by it for anxiety so to not get hooked on diazepams I try and use this aswell. diazepam withdrawl can be awful
