I am going to be 57 at the end of the year. Old enough to be your mom lol. I never wanted to be on antidepressants. I was, long ago to stop smoking. I did with the nic patch. I know that a lot of people stay on anti depressants for a long long time. The problem with this and other medications is that after 7 years it starts affecting your liver and in a really bad way. I always looked at antidepressants as just a "Band Aid." Sooner or later, you will have to get off them due to their damaging effects on your body. I always just wanted to be able to be happy and healthy without them. Eating a balanced diet and getting plenty of exercise and sleep is a great way to start. Learning a new hobby such as playing an instrument or arts and crafts really helped me feel good about myself. I took a couple of jewelry making classes and have sold my "Earrings" in stores and at work etc.... really enjoyed it for a long time. Then the wear and tear on my hands, so I started sewing with a sewing machine. I didn't know how, but Youtube fixed that for me. I have sewn quilts, clothes, rugs etc....It is very rewarding to me to wear a dress that I sewed myself. Also, earrings that will match any outfit I have. I really want to get back to that time in my life right now and it is hard, as life seems to take over and so much information and stuff you need to do takes precedence over what you enjoy doing. I always tell younger people to enjoy their lives when they are young, because when you get older EVERYTHING gets so much harder.

People who believe in G-d live longer. TRUE FACT.

Don't be like me and worry about things that are out of your control. You don't know what's going to happen in the future. Think about the here and now.
