I may have ask before but has anybody lost weight while on preds. I have lost muscle mass. Guess that would make you lose numbers on scale. I know I sound dumb to this but i am. I have so many questions that my doctor just seems to vaguely answer so i come here for answers. Thanks to all for any help.

i agree with Lodger -you should go back to your GP. There may be another anxiety med that will work better for you.
Actually, I'm feeling pretty good today-so there are most likely good and bad days and eventually it will all improve with time.
I blame some of the discomfort on prednizone but without it my life was like hell.
Would it be an option for you to try the Bowen therapy? I read that it is also used for relaxation.
i pray that you will be feeling better very soon.

THOMAS AMBROSE BOWEN (Tom Bowen)
The technique was first developed in Australia by Thomas Bowen (1916 to 1982). Following his interest and studies in the human muscular structure, he intuitively began working with this gentle technique discovering that certain moves on the body helped recovery from many conditions. His work in his popular clinic in Geelong, was verified by the 1975 Victorian Government Inquiry into alternative health care professions. It is recorded that he saw some 13,000 patients every year – an incredible work-rate.
It was only in 1986 that the technique was brought to other countries. Oswald Rentsch – a former massage therapist who Tom had invited to work and study with him - was authorized by Bowen to document and teach his methods. And with the help of Bowen’s Clerk, Rene Horwood, and his wife Elaine, they together produced a record of the Bowen Technique.

After the death of Thomas Bowen, Oswald and Elaine began teaching the technique to others and today it is embraced worldwide. Since 1994 there has also been a Teacher Training Programme with regular seminars available to those who wish to teach the technique as well as become Practitioners. The organization "Bowtech" is the foremost trainer of Bowen professionals worldwide and is dedicated to keeping the Bowen Technique faithful to the original work of Tom Bowen.
It works, don't ask me how, but if three treatments don't work them it ain't going to work for you.

She charges $85.00 a session and less if you sign up for three. She only does the Bowen technique.
if anyone in the area of Central Florida would like her name and number email me personally. I'm afraid if I put it here I will be zapped which I already have been several times before checking the rules.
