    Hi Melo2044,

Can I ask when you had your circumcision? It looks like they made a really good job of it as hardly any scarring. I had mine around 10 years ago when I was 30 and unfortunately it has made sex worse as every single stitch hole or where it was sewn can be seen and also causes pain, for me though its the hair follicle lumps at the base of penis that are agony after having sex, I have a urology appointment with the same doctor who did my opp next month so hopefully something can be done , it took ages for my gland to get used to not having a foreskin there so hoping i don't have to go through anything like that again, best of luck.

    Hi!

I have the exactly same problems, have you find any solution to this weird situation? I've been to several doctors, I've done every kind of tests and everything come back negative, I honestly does not know what's the problem. Honestly I does not want to undergo a biopsy, and my dermatologist said that it would be useless cause I JUST HAVE DRY SKIN and the result of the biopsy could be useless. I'm fighting this situation since 1 year, but the first symptoms started two years ago, in October/November 2019, after a balanitis. I'm supposing that this could be a kind of autoimmune condition, but doctors have excluded it too. My penis is not itching or burning, it's just dry and sometimes weirdly hydrated, but obviously is something that is not working good. I'm still thinking there is a kind of disease. Doctors still say that is just a xerosis of the skin, but I don't know why it's not healing. I've tried literally everything, but nothing worked for me, and the cortisone cream made it even worse. I've used DESAMIXIN EFFE that was terrible and made my skin istantly burnt (after a minute or so) - the cream was with desametasone and clotrimazole. Actually I'm treating myself with just a moisture cream, that is called ELAGE and it's Vitamine E with Omega 3,6,9. Honestly I'm not seeing any important improvement.

I was afraid that my situation and other similar to mine, as the one in this thread could be related to a kind of autoimmune disease like psoriasis or even worse, the lichen sclerosus, that was one of the diagnosis that I received, but other 7 doctors said that I have absolutely nothing and mine is just dry skin, a kind of xerosis BUT WITH NO CAUSES - it seems difficult to understand which is the problem that causes this situation. I've took several swabs to glans skin too and there are just harmless bacterial like Staphylococcus and Enterococcus, but absolutely no fungal infection or something else.

Honestly does not know what it's happening, I don't know if I will undergo a biopsy (hope to heal first) or ever to circumcise myself, but I HOPE that if there is someone that find out the SOLUTION OR EVEN HAVE A DIAGNOSIS TO THIS SITUATION, to write here and explain what he finds out.

    Thanks
