Weird Tingling sensation in my Vagina

Posted , 96 users are following.

This started 2-3 days ago, I've been feeling weird tingling sensation in my vagina after I pee. I doesn't burn nor do I have pain it just after I feel I have a weird sensation. I been having an urge to pee and pressure on my bladder.  It feels like an orgasm but then again I don't know. I seriously need help!! I've been looking it up and the most recent study I've been seeing is UTI or yeast infection

I think you're right that my case is a severe yeast infection. I will have to buy the anti-fungal medicine again bc i didn't use it all up before i stopped using it. I definitely feel discomfort where the clitoris is and where i pee. i havent went to the doctor yet & probably wont until the covid situation gets better. hopefully the OTC stuff will subdue it for now. 

For temporary relief until I hear back from my doctor, I found that the AZO Urinary Pain Relief Maximum Strength and extra strength Tylenol has helped me a lot and made the feeling go away

I have the same feeling. At first I thought I had a yeast infection, I did the Monista 3 treatment but it did not really work. I'm starting 5 days of antibiotics for UTI today. I did have some relief getting off but it was hard to achieve... (had to use the vibrator). 30 to 45 minutes later the tingling started again. I'm so aware of my lady parts at this time it's hard to think about something else... it's really uncomfortable.

I will update about the UTI treatment, fingers crossed. Thx for sharing, I thought I was alone... apparently not.

I thought I would update what happened to me if it can help anybody. First I got 5 days antibiotics for a UTI (got a prescription with a virtual visit (#covid19)). It seems to help and the symptoms went away but one or two days after the treatment they came back with more burning. So I thought I got a yeast infection from the antibiotics. So I did a full treatment of Monistat 7, that didn't really do anything... That episode lasted around 3 weeks. Yesterday I finally contact my obgyn over the phone and thank god she told me to come in (despite the pandemic) for an exam. I tested positive for a bacterial vaginosis. I never had one before and for me the symptoms felt like those of UTI or a yeast infection so it was really confusing without any testing. Of course I wish I would have called my OB sooner but I was trying to self diagnosed because of the pandemic... I'm starting the antibiotic cream (METRONIDAZOLE VAGINAL 0.75% GL GEL) tonight for five days, hopefully this bad experience will be over after that. Fingers crossed.

hi! did it end up resolving? I am going through something similar and very very stressed about it

I currently am experiencing the same thing. It started the morning of April 4... it is April 6 already today so I have been having this weird tingling sensation for 3 days now. It really is very uncomfortable. Whenever I pee, there is pressure on my clitoris and is a feeling I never had before. During day 1, the weird sensation was too uncomfortable that I started to feel chills and get the sweats all over my body. I didn't know what to do. I read a reply on here that probably masturbating would help, and it does for a awhile and then the feeling comes back again. I dont feel any burning or itching down there so I dont think it is UTI. The tingling weird sensation constantly has me going to the bathroom to pee even though i dont need to just to feel relief for a few seconds until the feeling comes back again. I feel the most uncomfortable in the morning when i have to pee a lot. Tylenol extra strength helped for a few hours but came back again. Anyone find a solution? desperate for an answer.

    hi everyone,

i just wanted to update to say mine has gone thank goodness, i got some antibiotics for a UTI I had to have two courses as it wouldnt go initially. I had to get an appointment through the app babylon (uk) as of coronavirus and it was £50 but it was really worth it if you have the money and are at wits end. dont worry though it will go may just need a bit of investigating.

What was the name of the antibiotic. I have been following these posts for the last couple of days having had the symptoms from late February. I had a telephone consultation with a gp today and am picking the medication up tomorrow. Hope it works.

hi it was nitrofurantoin which i think is specifically for UTIs, it was £50 for one appointment but as the dr only gave me 3 days of antibitoics i had to make another appointment for £50 to get 4 more days which was super annoying but i just explained that i had the tingling, needed to go the loo all the time, and chills/fever which tbh could have been to do with my stressing over it.

In terms of the app, you download, register your personal details, book an appointment and theyre usually prompt i got one within the hour of downloading. you also pay for a private prescription mine was £30ish but dependant on the pharmacy/prescription i hope that helps x
