As positive as I can be, now I'm slightly peeved at the fact that again my op was moved
Second hip, and again not going to happen on the planned date. Now I'm planned for Monday the 7th, be there at 7.00 AM....
so, instead of two days of work, it'll be two weeks and a pop around the pharmacy for more paracetamol and ibuprofen in the meantime.
*sigh*

I might do the same. Bring my laptop, work from the hospital WiFi and be in the way in general

The reasons are basically falling elderly people and traffic problems causing everything to shift and enter backlogs. So, not being the first in the list, I ended up with the short end of the stick.
Now I'm first on the list (my 'disappointment' was duly noted so to say), so here's hoping nothing happens over the weekend before..

And not so much more, but I do know that last time, there were two older ladies waiting there for their hip operations. As long as the break is clean, they can more or less wait indefinitely (nevermind the ethical discussion), but 'nasty breaks' tend to be taken care of soon.
I know I've been given the standard 'try and check it' reasons. I'm sure there would be ways to expedite things. But I am not going to raise hell. Yet.
Will when I get shafted again though...
