I was 46. It all started with an anxiety attack and an ambulance ride to the ER one week before my 47th birthday last year.

It's just all over the place. It definitely isn't a linear trajectory! Just when I think it's come to an end, it all comes crashing back again:(

Unfortunately, this is a process that, at least for some women, can last for years! I am still in perimenopause, even though I am almost 53 and in year five of it:(

Yes, it seemed like overnight for me too, though I guess it was all gradually leading there. With that so-called viral ear infection I remember... I was 45 I think; I'm 50 now.

at 43 I had frozen shoulder.. but really at age 27 had hysterectomy and was never the same since gradual symptoms since that day.. as soon as blood supply cut off from ovaries! started to experience weird symptoms.. even though doctors said oh we will leave the ovaries so you can have a natural menopause!! hahaha NOTHING AT ALL NATURAL ABOUT ANY OF THIS!!!!! so at 45 I literally woke up over night and it was undeniable... woke up to being dizzy and a migraine that i never ever had before that continued for 5 years now im 50..the symptoms were /are so bad ..anxiety panic agoraphobia joint pain dizziness scared doom flu like symptoms palpatations flutters night sweats body numbness blurry vision fatigue no stamina shaky hot /super cold..head zaps crying couldnt walk into a store to even grocery shop...the list just goes on and on ..fast forward to now .. I still have symptoms .. they repeat all month long ..everyday is something! but i guess I ve learned to cope with them.. (all except migraines) which kick my butt every single one..never would have imagined feeling so disabled in a million years! always thought my older years would be golden..ive since been diagnosed with RA hashimotos and chronic migraines .. and with the menopause well its hard to put one foot in front of other day after day!
