I was 44 when things got really bad. I did start having ringing in the ears several years prior. That was nothing though compared to now. x

    Hey Toria,

My perimenopausal journey started at 42. It's been RUFF ever since! I am full-blown menopausal, I've read & have been told... it gets better once the period stops, yet that is NOT true! My period stopped, and ALL HELL HAS BROKEN LOOSE!!! It has gotten WORSE! Periodically, I have intrusive thoughts, and they are absolutely horrific & psychotic!! There have been days, I wanted to check my damn self into an asylum! Somedays, I feel as if I can't get out of bed, let alone getting my day started. The anxiety is absolutely horrific, to say the least! I still find it hard to believe, it's deemed the CHANGE! It's wayyyyyy.... MORE than change; it's a friggin' TSUNAMI!!

I must have been in my mid-30s. The only symptom I had at the time was trouble conceiving our kiddo.

The noticeable symptoms started with a high-stress time in my early 40s. Anxiety, insomnia, brain fog and weight gain started about then. Also horrible allergies and headaches.

It seemed like right when i turned 43 all of my major symptoms started, almost exactly on my birthday. I'm going to be turning 45 next February. But I felt like i started with more minor symptoms a few years earlier, with slightly more irregular periods and worsening stomach issues before my periods. Now it seems like i have almost every single symptom you can have.
