What age were you when you started perimenopause?

hi i started with a very early symptom at around 37 which was on and off for a few years which i didnt think anything of till a few years later when i started with other symptoms in the begining i started with being dry down below for a few weeks then be compleatly wet through to feeli g like i had peed myself then it would be normal then it would do it again be real dry then opposite it wa on and off for few years then my periods got shorter and lighter which i thought was great. then i got pregant so was alright for a year then it started again then by aged 45 i started with palpatations and long periods then it wwnt back to normal it just was not normal but i still didnt think meno. then i had a very long period for a few weeks and i thought i had cancer anyways long story short im now 48 and i have been from long heavy periods goi g on for months then stop then none and then now for past several months iv been regular but very very light. i get very tierd alit i sweat alot hate that most.my hairs thiner and im agi g faster. iv also lost muscle to e and my figure is changing geti g a belly and losi g the nice perky bottom and have no energy. il be cleaning and just start to have a weird feeling of coldness go through me but feel sweaty its horrid. iv gone of sex and sentations almost invisable and just dry alot sick of it and dr wont give me hrt cos he said i have high blood presure.

I was on birth control until age 52. When I stopped, no more periods. It was over, so hard to tell. No hot flashes or mood swings. I think it was a good choice for me, but not for everyone.
