What Bacterial Vaginosis symptoms did you have??

Just wondering what symptoms have others experienced while having BV?  My symptoms are smelly vaginal discharge which normally smells fishy.  Recently and I have noticed in the past some achy abdominal pains and also swollen lymph nodes in my groin area. Does anyone have any similar symptoms caused by BV.  I have had the infection for since September.

A Dr told me recently that fabric softener can build up in fabrics like towels and harbour bacteria - can cause recurrent BV amongst other issues. Try not using it.

Also, sensitivity or allergy can cause it too - I'm allergic to a detergent and paper preservative that caused similar symptoms repeatedly until I stopped using certain products that affected me, including toilet paper and sanitary items. Struggled for about 2 yrs getting checked at GUM etc til I realised.

I have the same symptoms and NOTHING is helping! I have had BV for two months and several rounds of flagyl orally and used the vaginal gel. The gel seems to provide the most relief but after finishing each round the pain came right back. I have tried every supplement under the sun. Folic acid, probiotics, multi vitamins, eating raw garlic, using only pads, wearing cotton underwear, only taking showers and I HAVE NOT been sexually active since I started feeling everything. Have you found any kind of relief?!!
