What is going on!

I use to have migraines from 1st grade till my freshmen year of highschool. They would be so bad I'd throw up, be dizzy, and sometimes loose vision. I think they were from school food and doing p.e. in the sun. After I got kicked out of the school for bad migraines they all stopped. I have been migraine free for six years. But in Oct 2016 I got sick with what my doctor thinks is fibromyalgia. I'm not sure, certain things match though. However for the past 3 weeks I have been getting headaches from hell that last all day and cause nausea. They also cause me to be light headed and have weird brain wave sensation and feel like I'm going to pass out. When I walk I feel this especially. But honestly to me its different from migraines. I dont really know what to do other than get an MRI ? What should I ask for? Sorry I also didnt really know where to put this post.. Any advice is appreciated! Thanks

    Hello remygirl

looks like you have received some great responses. As far as headaches...I suffer from migraines.  What helps me is Rizatriptan 10 mg ODT. Dissolves on your tongue so gets into your system quicker.  The key is to take it on the onset of feeling like a headache is coming on....that is so important.  If you are able to rest for a bit that is great too....sometimes we cannot.  If it's a bad migraine and the first Rizatriptan is not working and still getting headache 2 hours after I take a nausua medication and another Rizatriptan......that should help you and save you from getting sick from the pain of migraine and stop it. Yes I agree with the other blogger that stress can really create head issues.  Also drink plenty of water and go light on caffeine and alcohol......unfortunately that includes chocolate. Which I LOVE......just don't eat too much 😊.  Eating healthy is always good for us....Especially avoid processed foods.

I hope this may help.  Please let us know how you are doing.

    I wish you well!

    Wendy
